Here's some notes: The scent is exactly what I remember of these delicious candy treats. WARNING DON"T EAT THE LATHER OR DRINK THE SPLASH !!
This is also a new base from Frank. He has been working with Monica at ‪@vanyulay7032‬ to improve the post shave feel of the soap. The new mix does just that. The post shave feel is soft and smooth. There is a residual slickness that you could in theory do a complete pass without a re-lather.
But with the scent like this , why would you waste it.
The scent is sweet from the chocolate and tart from the raspberry, with(at least to me ) hints of vanilla and some type of nut.
The lather was smooth , great scent and provided not only the great post shave but an excellent cushion for the Fatboy.
There was very little sting with the splash . The skin food ingredients, added to the soap's post shave. leaving my face smoooooth !!
Barrett's Chocolate Symphony was the cologne of choice as there is none for this set (ahem... JERRY !!!! Think about it !!!!) Made for an excellent pairing and completion to this gourmand shave.

Nice shave and review Deacon, you just can't go wrong with any of Strike Gold Shave's shaving products. Growing up in Brooklyn in the '60's and early '70's, I used to eat those "Jelly Rings🍩" when my Dad brought them home, I love 'em!🪒👌💯😎

Thank you! So glad you enjoyed the scent. The soap will oxidated to brown in a day where you scooped. It takes a little bit to go all the way through.

That's what I thought. A lil ole soap maker from Sweeny, TX told me about that a wile ago...Now, who was that????? The scent was great, almost edible
