I hope what is happening to St. Petersburg, doesn't happen there. St. Pete has lost it's Florida charm to oversized apartments and condos of big devolopers.
I believe this is happening in EVERY major city in Florida. There is a lot of growth!

We don't need a huge Town can't you see we are 1.4 billion behind on our budget and they're wanting to screw up our schools. And my family has been here for hundreds of years in Jacksonville and I see it go forward and then go way back again which is what happened since the pandemic.
They still haven't done anything with our downtown. It sucks and it's full of homeless and it's not safe. The pandemic has screwed up so much here. We now have so many people moving in and freaking taking over the streets doing racing etc. We don't have enough police and now they want to close 10 school that are in small neighborhoods which I think is totally wrong. Our budget is a deposit of 1.4 billion this year. Say what you want but our city is having trouble and people need to know that.
I hear you. The pandemic has definitely brought about a lot of changes and difficulties for every city. Jacksonville is moving in the right direction. Let's hope for positive changes
