Thank you very much 🙏🏻 Really pleased you liked it And thank you so much for supporting the channel as a Brushstroke member, that is so awesome of you and it is massively appreciated 🤛🏻
Gosh. It's so lovely to watch you work. Would we ever be able to get uncut footage to see the entire process? No narration or editing needed for that. I just would love to see every step. Thank you for the video!
Thank you Really glad you enjoyed the video. Uncut footage could be possible, it would be pretty long though. I worry people will just find it boring you see? I’ll certainly see what I can do 👍🏻
Thanks for watching and thanks for the feedback. It is something I'll certainly try and introduce. Ideally I would like to have a second camera on my palette so I can show exactly how the paint looks for each step, but I need some extra budget which I don't have right now.
Really nice video, loved the final result! I'll find really useful if you explained a little bit how to make a base like that for painting. Did you make a hole in the miniatures's foot?
Thank you I will be making more basing videos for sure. To answer your question about fixing the mini to the base. Give this video a watch ua-cam.com/video/zAXPCRfKoec/v-deo.html It has a tip for that and some other great ones
@@BrushstrokePaintingGuides What about a movie-accurate guide for various warrior models, like the Last alliance warriors or the Galadhrim warriors or something of that sort? Just pick something that you will enjoy painting really, you can't go wrong with Middle-Earth!
@@BrushstrokePaintingGuides AWESOME!! Sorry just discovered your channel but safe to say I'm subscribed. Also loved your paint thinning video helped alot.
Thanks for watching the video Yes, I have the full Darkstar range and they are brilliant. To get started with I would say the silvers you should try first are: Graphite Pewter Steel (this can be used to make an amazing metallic black with a black wash) Hope that helps
Brand new viewer here! Your painting style is fantastic, I am an instant fan of the way your brushwork doesn't leave tell-tale brush marks on your models. Definitely adding your videos to my study guide for when I'm painting!
I found out about Glorfindel's character sheet on the Lord of the Rings 5e Rivendell book expansion, this model will make an excellent edition with my collection of DnD miniatures and I'll be able to use him for the Lord of the Rings One-Shot.😃 Thanks for the painting guide, I'll be using this guide when I have the figure and do it step by step.😁😁 Edit: since you did him on foot, do you think you can paint him on his horse too?
Very well done James. Watching you do the edge highlighting was enlightening. ooops, no pun intended. 😁
Thank you sir
Just watched this.
Another Wicked tutorial.

Excellent work! I like that greenish gold and blue color scheme, nice base too.

Good step by step tutorial guides. As constructive criticism I wish You'd add cut scenes with paint consistency check for every step. Still good job 😉

Spectacular work! I would love to see you paint more Middle-Earth minis!
Thanks man
Is there anything Middle Earth in particular you’d like to see?

Do you use any other silvers from the darkstar range? If so, what do you recommend?

Anyone know what color blue id use from AK interactive for the cloak?
Amazing. And the inclusion of the how to paint eyes on the back of your hand is a master stroke. Fantastic stuff. Thank you.
Thanks man. It seemed like an easier way to show the process, as the eyes were hard to see on the mini itself.
Glad it came across well 👍🏻
Love the color scheme. Very elf!
