Thank-you for directing us newbees to the Laurie Sprays (and other artists and suppliers) out there. I appreciate how free you are to credit others with techniques and ideas. Your videos are inspirational, but also practical. I have saved untold time and money by virtually experimenting along side you. Keep showing both successes and failures!

This is so beautiful! I love the thick glass look and it looks so good viewing it from the side. I'm definitely going to try this. Thanks for the tutorial!

Impressive. I'm transfixed by the pattern. Who wouldn't enjoy that on the coffee table. I'm jealous of how you made something so beautiful out of nothing.

Thats wonderful. I did something similar to this one with turquiose blue and clear glass. Tack fused. That came out beautifully too.

Very nice result. I really enjoy watching your videos showing trials, errors and just plain fun experimenting with glass. I have 2 rings from Laurie. I have just fused my 2nd strip bowl and am waiting for it to cool down.

This turned out beautiful! We fusers/stained glass artist have thousands and thousands of dollars of glass and supplies in our studio’s.
Have you ever just priced your studio and what we have spent over the years. I did and just my kilns $6500 furniture $1200 molds $2300 glass galore I lost count 😄 I’m a huge glass/supply hoarder! I just feel like I have to have everything new out there but I don’t really need it. You have inspired me to shop discount /thrift stores for ceramics and stainless steel molds.
Also Thank you sooo much for sharing your videos with us and for helping me save lots of money 😉💕

Yes! It is inherently expensive so I try to be frugal wherever I can!!! There are some things I spend money on out of convenience (like the higher price of Zyp and shelf papers) but try to find cost savings elsewhere!

I bought the 8” version and I think I love it more and more every day. Last week I used it to polish glass with cerium oxide for the first time. Need more practice but that worked well! hitechdiamond.com/products/slant-cabber-glass-crystal-model?aff=53

Amazon. Just search for digital calipers

I thought glass wouldn't fuse if just touching and not overlapping.

    • @JamaisonSchuler

Two 3mm single layers just touching side by side would pull away from each other. Perhaps that’s what you are thinking?
