Magome to Tsumago. The Nakasendo Trail

The trail between Magome and Tsumago is the most beautiful section of the Nakasendo, the route that ran along the Kiso Valley and used to connect Tokyo with Kyoto during the Edo Period. The trail is about 8 kilometers long and takes around 2-3 hours to walk at a leisurely pace.

Magome is one of the towns on the Nakasendo. The full Nakasendo runs from Tokyo to Kyoto.
