how much is the road tax? any supplementary first year tax or anyhing? can it use waste heat from the engine to heat the cabin while the engine is being used rather than use the electric heater ?

This vehicle would make a great car or SUV. A combination of the parts from the Taxi in the front, windows on the sliding doors and a tailgate. Passenger seats or a bench seat in the rear and go for the glass roof. You'd need all the extras, but it's worth it.
@@rivervalegroup There is a forecourt in Potters Bar where i work which i pass daily and is full of taxis. The van version does look slightly odd but this is the future.
Been looking at it but no matter how good the van is it's like 700 to lease it. That's already my van it's 3.0 diesel v6 all it's fuel for the month so what is the point.
I like the design as it's different but shame that it has not got apple car play/android auto and more safety features such as lane keep assist and blind spot monitoring/detection, considering that most of underpinnings are the same as Volvo from parent company geely
I have had one since November... love the whole idea of it. Driving experience is amazing... HOWEVER!!!! range extender issues all the time (range extender not available). Absolutely no support from levc and I have been trying to book this in for repair since November. Absolute disgrace for a vehicle worth nearly 70k! Very unhappy at the moment.
I understand that version is planned for the near future. The good this of current version is that it is cc charge capable. So the driver could further minimize the usage of the petrol engine.
All electric TX?? They’re not all electric. They’ve only got an all electric range of 50 miles before the petrol engine comes on. It’s an electric range extender car. 0:50 please stop repeatedly calling it ‘all electric’ as it isn’t. A Tesla is all electric not this
Can you test the van with heavy load please?
Could you use it petrol only?
Now this is a good make, We needed something like this as our gas prices. Haven’t been the best

Had mine 9 months loved every minute of it it’s pleasure to drive
Fantastic to hear, Stephen!
do you know what mpg you get when your using on fuel?

Gr8 vid ! Very informative:)
Thanks Peter, glad you found the review useful! What do you make of the VN5?
They seem to be out of production on the website. You can get second hand but no new ones
Shame about LED lamps, is it possible to upgrade to proper halogen lights, that don't melt people's eyeballs?

Thats why it's a taxi/cab first. The van came second.
It's platform is based on the XC90
The centre screen and controls look very Volvo ?
Owner of LEVC is Geely
The parent company of LEVC is Geely who also owns Volvo, hence access to some familiar parts.
Nice spot Fred! What are your thoughts on the VN5 overall?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts Peter - hopefully a revised model will add these features 👍

How's the van going now? Was looking at a 2021 used and wondered what the long term looked like
How have things gone since you wrote this ?

Thanks for your comment Daniel 👍 Would you get a VN5?
not current version- i wait for the pricing of the vw cargo - Morris commercial
2.5 m/kWh is poor compared to the ENV200 which is around 3.8
Should do a pick-up
Thanks for watching! We'll pass this onto the team for suggestion 👍
So its not an EV its a hybrid?
Hi there, it's a plug-in hybrid 👍 What do you make of it?
miles per gallon figure sounds like total BS. I wonder what it really is? I mean after the battery has run down. More like 30 I am guessing.

Is the presenter 1.5m tall or is that a 2.2m tall dog catcher?
So much volvo parts in that van
Thats because Volvo own LEVC
Volvo electrics are not known for being reliable
Electric garbage with shitty range so unless you don't work near home or same city you will be more time on recharger then on work and road
name a better car, bet youll say "lamborghini" or some supercar
