Call the vendors who buy the produce, Do you want to eat sweet potatoes with an infestation?🤢🤮
And they can't sell potatoes with fruit fly larvas. They spread to people's homes. The fly issue is a health threat too. It can incurr financial losses.
0:47 I thought he was going to say "To the walls!"
Lol
😂
Until flies crawl down my ball
I moved to Los Angeles in 1989 and the fruitflies were bad. We had many nights where areas of the County were going to be sprayed with Malathion from about 10 crop dusting helicopter's flew in formation back and forth. You had to wash the residue off car's and outdoor stuff. This went on for months. It was a major threat to agriculture in SoCal. I can't believe nothing like that is being done in North Carolina. Fruitflies are an agricultural threat wherever they are. Praying for you folk's out there!
I wonder if a call to the fda would bring better results?
These people can’t even sit down and eat without getting their plate swarmed…. Better get some mosquito nets until that gets sorted
This another thing that can happen in in climate change, bugs will be new, virus, and infestations will occur.
I live near a dumpster and I've never seen anything like this.
Fruit flies are relentless.
Put a match to the warehouse.
Big business will kick your ass.
Storing thousands of pounds of sweet potatoes outside of the warehouse in wooden creates has nothing to do with this problem.
are you a simpleton? Wow
Sue and move!!
Fruit Fly’s are difficult to rid of, Apple Cider vinegar, dish soap and water. Let it foam up, they would get stuck and die. Also, Apple Cider Vinegar and water put plastic wrap over the cup then poke a few hole. They enter but can’t leave.
Peppermint oil... They hate it
HUh. with a totally unprotected bin of produce, i wonder why this problem has persisted for so long. funny!
Paper towel with alot of laundry detergent, just wipe down areas they hang, then make a strong bottle of laundry detergent and some water. Spray, you will find relief. Somewhere they have found a place to reproduce..I have this issue, so far laundry detergent has been most helpful. A catchmaster with smear of ripe banana also helps a lot.
I just used apple cider vinegar and a drop of dish soap. It worked over a couple days.
They could have just composted all of that product that they over produced.
I would make a pool of apple cider vinegar and dish soap and water
A good tire fire would take care of dat.
Imagine the maggots in the potatoes! 🤮
YOU TAKE ONE OF THOSE ELECTRIC FLY SWAT LOOKING THING WITH THE LITTLE BUTTON ON IT, THERE USUALLY YELLOW SWIPE IT THREW THE AIR IN YOUR HOUSE AND WATCH WHAT HAPPENS, ITS WORKS, PUT ONE IN EVERONES HAND IN THE HOUSEHOLD, IT IS JUST A TEMPORARY FIX
?
Jesus
FRUIT FLIES ARE FUN *
Lol, what a coincidence, I call democrats fruitflies
A bucket of wa
Do not use vinegar or traps they male it worse. Never use vinegar for cleaning or fruit fly traps. They absolutely love these traps, all kinds. They don't help, they make it worse.
What? These traps work! Ive been using them all summer til now. Btw you also have to clean you're drains with pinesol and baking soda. Kills the eggs in the drain
They obviously work because of the large number of bugs getting stuck in her homemade trap.
It's just too many to make much of a difference.
vinegar and soap does work, I just had a few that came in with the bananas from the grocery store, but they were gone in a couple days. Worked like a charm.
Don't those fools understand that it's not the quality of their lives that really matter...it's the profits of the sweet potato company! Duh.................
If that plants Warehouse and their mailing address it says Clinton then that's exactly what they're in Clinton they're in the jurisdiction Clinton just don't want to do nothing about it that's a new starling's damn mess Allen can and I think actually owns the property I think I don't know for sure I know Pillsbury used to own it at one time but not only the sweet potatoes but it's that big Lagoon in the back of the plant maybe that news reporter should go back there and look at that place and plus it's right there on the creek what you might to say
So simple put vinegar in a sprayer and.spray it all over the property but get those traps out of there all the trap does is draw more flies
simple match would solve the problem!
