I loved the parade. We recently went sep 14th and we dressed up. I was princess aurora and during the parade maleficent stared right at me with a glare. It was so awesome!!! For being my first trip to Disney I was very pleased. I loved the entire experience! :) also the night we went it wasn't really crowded. We got to get a lot of rides and meet and greets in that night.
I've never seen this parade in person before but I will see it Next year 2017! Although I've seen Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime parade last year 2015 it was so awesome

I was dressed up as Snow White during this parade the other day. And when the Evil Queen came around on the float, she stopped, stared and glared at me til I was out of site. LOL everyone looked at me and laughed. Later that Night I brought her a caramel covered apple :P She was still p*ssed. HAHAHA

The overall song: Meh. Gets better as it goes. Also carries an "Epic Mickey" quality to it. Group A: As fun to see the Mad Hatter, not worth it. Pooh and Friends: T_T...for the kids I guess? Peter Pan: The Lost Boys appeared? FINALLY! Pirates: Always worth seeing Barbossa and Jack. Haunted Mansion: BEST BIT EVER!!! LOVE those shovelers. Hoedown: T_T...no reason for it. Hell Band: Worth it. Villains: Nice to use older ones! Candy Cart: YES. Overall: Needs Jack Skellington & Headless Horseman.
Ummmm the hoedown is entirely necessary, it symbolizes a fall festival and gives not to what October/November is also known for besides Halloween and thanksgiving which is the harvest and fall season.
It would be amazing to take out the "country" scene and replace it with Coco since Dia De Los Muertos is very close to Halloween. Have a face character Miguel like they had Hiro and Pan and etc and make the dancers wear day of the dead paint and costumes. Also, ones like Ernesto, Héctor, Mama Imelda dressed up and painted on a float that looks like a giant Pepita. Just my opinion and creative ideas.
