This is, indeed, abstract in the sense even though there is a key signature w/chords the tonal center seems ambiguous. This is the kind of stuff I get in2. Thx 4 posting.

I tried this first w/1-7-6 base and it didn't go off well. Then I did it with a 1-4-7 and it worked perfectly. My only other observation; the last chord you can flat the fifth if you want to but you can also play the chord naturally as well. If you have a bassist around, you can get a sweet little groove goin on.

Great vid, brother! Really appreciate that you include some theory in there! A lot of tutorials I've seen don't take the time to do that.

I really appreciate your love for music and your passion to teach it. Thank you so much. I just have a quick question. I know how to play any chord given to me, but how do you know how to find those chords and put them together. What kinds of rules or theory are yall gospel brothers using? I've heard the terms like, altered and borrowed... what do these mean?

listen to songs.......you'll eventually realize which ones fit together...like ryt now I can find relative chords of a song by hearing....and I'm no professional, just a home keyboard player.. i just always focussed on the bass in a song....that's why I never remember lyrics!!
