I don’t understand why folks obsessed with who celebrities choose to date. Meg is grown if she wants Jonathan then what that got to do with anybody else? How is anyone life affected if her and Jonathan want to be a couple

I am so feeling DaBrat's facial expressions. I may be reading them wrong, but it seems that sometimes some of the comments that are made by the crew are so off the wall, mean-spirited or ridiculous that those comments don't deserve further discussion. I love the step over and keep it moving look and comment, "Well, moving on...." which I think started with Tamar saying it.

Good for her. A lot of y'all need to find some worthwhile activities. Communities are struggling, young people need mentoring, volunteer or do something positive for yourself. Please stop the 'crabs in a barrel' tear one another down for a few coins or a comment. Its not healthy or supportive to the community.
The media drilled in on Jonathan so hard on purpose so that even if someone did want to publicly say something in support of Jonathan they would get attacked for supporting an "abuser", and I can't imagine anyone want's that backlash especially other black people/actors, so then the media can go after them too. Meagan is his partner and I commend her for supporting her partner through this harrowing time. But really think about what you're writing here. Iyanla gave him a hug and openly supported him while presenting his award then there were a million think pieces and haters all of sudden saying "I knew Iyanla would coddle a black man", "she's a mammy" , but since she is a counselor/healer I'm sure whatever backlash haters tried to throw at her rolled right off her back but for real think about it. I bet Jonathan has lost friends over this BS but I also bet that the people that rallied behind him in private really MATTER to him. People who personally know him, truly know him, his character, his heart and had his back before, during and after it all. We as a public don't have to know who each and every person that was for him but that means something. I'm sure he understands this and does not fault anyone for not publicly making a statement on his behalf or anything like that because of their own career reputation, it's not personal, it's business. Because again, the media drilled this man down to deter anyone from loving him openly, that's why people say his relationship with Meagan is fake. People are brainwashed and think and see with their own biases.

When Meagan Good met Jonathan Majors, they both knew there was something there.
“We met at an event and there was instant chemistry,” she tells PEOPLE in this week's issue, opening up about life and love ahead of the premiere of the new movie Divorce in the Black, out July 11 on Amazon Prime.
But despite early sparks, “I wasn't really in that frame of mind,” she says, given that she was still recovering from her divorce from pastor DeVon Franklin. "Then we met again about four months later, and I thought, 'Oh shit, this is going to happen.' And it happened".
Last year, Good, 42, made headlines and caused a stir on the Internet when she first came out with Majors. The couple went public with their relationship just as the Creed III star, 34, was facing misdemeanor domestic battery charges against his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.
But according to Good, they hadn't planned to share their relationship with the world at the time.
“Someone saw us somewhere going to the movies and then reported it, and I wondered if we should cancel it or not. I replied: 'No, because people have a false perception of you. A false perception of who you date,'” he explains. “So, if this is so, at some point they will realize.”
Then, Good says, “he tried to encourage me not to be with him. I wanted to protect myself. I told him: 'My love, first of all, you are dealing with a black Leo. And also, I grew up in this industry. The things I've been through have given me the ability to love other people, no matter what. So when we got together it was like, 'This is going to be a lot, but you picked the right person.'”
Majors has maintained his innocence and Good was in court at his side earlier this year when he was found guilty of two counts of assault and harassment and later sentenced to attend a year-long domestic violence intervention program.
She admits that the experience, along with public scrutiny, has not been easy.
“It's hard to watch,” she says, tears beginning to flow as she remembers Majors breaking down on stage during a recent awards show. But outside the public eye, she and Majors have built their relationship by “praying together, meditating, exercising,” she says.
“We go out when we need to, but we've really existed within this bubble and it's been wonderful. "It's crazy because even with everything that's been going on, this is the happiest I've felt in a long time."

Meagan Good defended her decision to start her relationship with Jonathan Majors in the midst of his assault trial.
The “Think Like a Man” actress appeared on Tuesday’s episode of “Today with Hoda and Jenna” when co-host Hoda Kotb asked her if any of her friends suggested that she should “wait to see how everything kinda shakes out” with the trial before dating him.
“Uh, yeah every friend advised me, but at the end of the day, one thing I know is I can always look at myself in the mirror when I trust my spirit, when I trust God, when I ask God, and when I move to the beat of my own drum,” she explained.
Good, 42, clarified that she “take[s] everyone I love’s opinion and advice into account for sure,” but she has to “live my life.”
“I can always look and say, ‘OK, I’m proud of that.’ No matter whatever happens, I have peace in my heart, and I have harmony in my heart,” she added.
Good reminded people that she is the only one who can “give God an account of what I did, and so I wanna be responsible for the choices that I make, and I also wanna live the life that I wanna live. ”The “Anchorman 2” actress also reflected on the last year of their “wonderful” relationship and gushed about the “support” they’ve shared for one another.
“The support we’ve been able to give each other, the pouring into each other, the honest conversations, the love, the respect, just the care and the thoughtfulness, it’s just been really wonderful,” she raved.
