I feel like those fences are a little close, it's like 100 foot, and I'm going to the 10u world series and ours are 225 and we still hit a lot of home runs
Slow down cletus, this is but one of MANY leagues out there. There's leagues from this same area that would blow them and anything from Bidens home state out.
I mean I was throwing breaking balls at 10. Not everybody throws a breaking ball the way high schoolers do, as there are ways to throw curves that don't hurt your arm. I started by just using a different grip, release point and snapping my wrist down, which is the way lots of younger kids are taught
Doesn’t matter what grip you hold for a curveball, at 9-10 years of age there should be no curveballs taught period!!! I’ve experienced seeing a lotta kids that threw them at a young age and notice how they were holding their arm after the game. I’ve been told by high schoolers how they can’t throw anymore because of their curveball back in their youth time. May work for you back in the past but 99% that won’t be the case for others.
Yeah, my son just turned 10 in May. I told him once he can throw his 4seam, 2 seam & change up for strikes consistently, then I'd teach him to throw a curve.... In reality though, I'm not going to until he's at least 11. In the meantime, he'll have command of 3 solid pitches, then he can add a curve which will make him better in the long run.
Logan Farber Real baseball is about getting outs. Why do you think MLB teams put their 2nd baseman in short right field now a days? Or is that not real baseball?
Banditos' catcher carries himself like a little pro already... Super impressive!
Nice work Coach Reeder. Great video
First batter watches to many Domingo Ayala videos

His elbow will also be shredded by the time he hits 11u
With the zone being how he's calling it, how can you tell.
Lake Charles is where I am from
y is he so good at pitching at 9 im 12 and i am not that accurate
9:50 was a nasty pitch
Curve balls at 9 that's smart
So sad to see 9 year olds throwing curveballs, wouldn’t be surprised if he can’t pitch or even throw a ball by the age of 14-15
It’s funny to read comments from the baseball uneducated.....
@@russelreeder how he is just saying it’s bad for kids to throw freaking breaking balls at the age of nine

The banditos do not play real baseball real baseball is when you don’t throw it to first when it is hit to right field so
Logan Farber Real baseball is about getting outs. Why do you think MLB teams put their 2nd baseman in short right field now a days? Or is that not real baseball?
Russel Reeder it’s about playing the game and having fun and winning
Logan Farber you are right, and the name of the game - or how to win the game - is getting outs before the other team scores runs.
Man you don’t know freakin baseball
Logan Farber Ok, you win!
gah you people with the horns are annoying
Why would you allow a 9 year old to throw curves?? Smh
