He clocked that tea....he told that lil boy that he was willing to be in a bad relationship with a mexican girl but doesn't give black girls that same grace and it's because of self hate....so perfectly said Dr. Umar! Glad u are teaching these young boys how to grow up to be good strong men🙌🏾✨
“Dr. Umar, I don’t say this lightly-you’ve given me something I didn’t even realize I needed: belief. Not just belief in what you teach, but belief in myself and the clarity to make sense of the world around me. For so long, I felt like I was searching in a fog, grasping at fragments of truth while battling the confusion of so many lies we’ve been told. I had a foundation, a baseline of what I believed, but it wasn’t complete-it wasn’t enough to guide me with conviction. Then I came across your work, and it was like hearing someone put into words the thoughts and feelings I had buried deep inside me. You made me realize I’m not alone in what I’ve been thinking, what I’ve been feeling. You helped me see that my instincts about our people, our history, and our future were valid, and that there is a bigger picture-a picture that demands action, not just reflection. I’m a father, Dr. Umar, and my mission is to build a legacy that breaks the chains of generational struggle. I’m determined to create a foundation for my children and their children that not only secures their financial future but grounds them in their identity, our identity. I want them to stand tall, knowing who they are and where they come from. But to do that, I need wisdom. I need mentorship. And I believe you are the person who can help me bridge that gap. Your words don’t just resonate with me-they challenge me. They make me want to do more, to be better, to ensure that I’m part of the solution. This isn’t about admiration or flattery; this is about respect and recognition of the path you’ve walked and the truth you’ve shared. I see you as someone who gets it-who gets me-and that’s rare. That’s why I’m reaching out to you with humility and purpose. Dr. Umar, I’m asking for the chance to learn from you, to take the clarity and belief you’ve sparked in me and turn it into something real, something lasting. For my family. For our people. For the future. Thank you for being a voice in the darkness and for standing firm in a world that desperately needs truth, wisdom, and guidance.”
Bro, I don't know you...but everything you just said is the reason I'm a devoted student of his💯...In all Wisdom and Humbleness, Dr. Umar is the reason I look at everything through my third eye, the reason I love myself and Black People as a race more than what I did before I knew of him, and the reason I'm an unapologetically African force of nature today💯✊🏾🇱🇾!!! God Bless You bro💯!!!
@ blessings King and that’s why I would like a personal mentorship with him if possible. Like they say if you wanna accomplish something surround yourself around like-minded people and that’s what I’m trying to do. So with that being said, may you continue to be bless my brother.
Been following Dr Umar since the early days. Its nice to see Umar connecting with the Gen Z who believe they don't need to learn about racism. I know times are better for the youth but the study of racism is beneficial. Its not about dwelling on the past as some Gen Z's like to think. Its about learning as they move forward.
"It's better to raise strong children, than to repair broken men" This stream was meant to happen, the car accident could have just been the ancestors underlining that✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽
I love ❤️ this stream! Lots of honesty. Thank you Dr. Umar, 😊 for standing up for black people and black women. Love the comment about not forgiving your parents can cause you to raise your children with the same pain that hurt you!
One thing I noticed about the youth is they don’t know when to stop playing and when to start listening. I know this young man had to still conduct the stream. However, there was a lot of lived and learned wisdom that Dr. Umar was sharing with him but I perceived he missed it because he was still in play mode and streamer mode.
43:44 love you raud i lost my mom at 9 and going off dr umar words i just got to the resolution stage at 21 just make sure u have a good support system🤞🏽❤️
What he’s saying about reconciling with your father is true. I had to, and when I did. I realized that my father isn’t a bad man, he just made bad decisions.
Matthew 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
I appreciate what Um said re: R.Kelly. This is actually quite nice, and, somewhat _surprisingly for me, quite endearing._ Good [esp Black male] bonding, genuine and vulnerable conversation, generational exchange of info, ideas & culture. I do wish Doc delved a bit deeper in your session re: stages of grief; i.e. touching on how Denial can feel like being LOST, or how his cautions re: Acceptance are about void-filling/replacement; but hopefully you receive deeper therapy[ies] as needed outside of the stream. I can see that you need and desire it, so please do seek. BTW- texting your mom is *not **_at all_** crazy, and is actually quite beautiful, touching, and POWERFUL.* *PLEASE KNOW and innerstand that you can **_always_** connect with her, **_anywhere, by any_** means that resonate with you. Do it from your soul.* I'm pausing this ~45-mins in, to return later. I just felt called to comment this, now. A very cool intro to you, Raud, and a deeper understanding of Dr. Umar. I appreciate this, TFS. 💚
He's so right about your mom. I lost my mom in 2019 & literally felt just how you felt .. do your research, learn about death brother it's the inevitable and there is no life without death. the pyramids, the third eye, and the original cross which is the "anhk" will give you the answers. Start there, and thank you for this stream. Never seen you before but this was right on time . ❤ Oh , and after you awake from the fog and are able to connect with spirit, You'll feel her presence in blessings. We are one with God .
NBA is line Tupac as in he in straight real, doesn't gaf about anyone against him,but pac was next level doing classic movies, and making classic music.
Somebody said: “Dr Umar connecting with the youth”……. It seems the Youth are connecting with Dr. Umar… even better! Young brother you doing something unique with this particular guest being a young UA-camr/Live streamer keep it up! Please keep it up! (Kabba Kamene) is another black scholar you should try to connect with that brother is a wealth of knowledge!!
I am trying to figure out where to find it to. I saw that it was called "Goodbyeee." @geezitsNesha, mentioned it in the chat. Do you know what app Raud used to record the dance at the end?
59:31 he is contradicting himself. How do we need our ancestors in this life when he also said God in in control & knows everything, he is the most high. All we need is him, amen
But where do you get the idea of angels from? The Bible. So go back to that & see what God says about angels. He created Angels which are super natural beings then me made us, MAN, spirit with a physical body when we die. Our spirits just don’t become angels. Angels were created before earth was. & how can someone who lived, walked the same life as all of us then die and guide? You can get guidance from a human beings. Also I believe the ancestors and communicate aren’t ppl who use to be there but demons/ fallen angels. This stuff gets deep, we all want to find and know the truth. First ask God with a SINCERE HEART to guide you then. Start doing research
@@upsideup6455 but you are correct the angels God created are not in heaven but by our sides and fight the evil forces for us CONSTANTLY hoping we all come to repent and put our full 100% trust in the LORD!❤️
Dr Umar connecting with the youth, love to see it!

And also much respect to him for counseling the young brother and letting him get his thoughts out!
