Thanks for the comment, Patrick. They are printing now while I try to build an inventory to support sales when they get on the website. Thanks for your support...Ken

If I was you i would do a separate video of you out walking with say family or friends, stopping for a bite to eat, opening up your lap diners etc. Showing it out in the real world. It’s a good product but people need to see it working in practice. Or even a video of school children having there packed lunch outside at break times.

Great idea Wayne, you must be reading my mind. I just the other day gave 6 of the Lap Diners to my marketing person so they can make some short videos and photos of the Lap Diner being used in different environments. We will use this media to promote the product on my website and social media. Thanks for your input and support...Ken

Love the lap diner demo. Do you use a metal rod to join the lap diner parts at the joint? Larry

Thanks for the question, Larry. I do use a 2mm aluminum rod for the hinge pin, that won't rust if it gets wet. Thanks for your support...Ken

I plan to make a video soon for people like you that are new to 3D printing that will give you my best advice on how you might get started in this business and hopefully make some money too. Also, I have some older videos that might help you out. Thanks for the question...Ken

Love the Video, what material are you printing these in? i have just got into printing so i only have PLA at the moment, what material is the simplest to move forward to, that can be printed in the house, i hear that things like ABS are very smelly?

You're right about ABS Frank. it does give off more of an odder and you should have good ventilation when printing with it. PLA is not as strong as ABS however the PLA can be strong enough in many applications and the strength of parts printed with PLA can be increased by printer settings and part design. About 90% of my parts are printed with PLA. Good question my friend...Ken
