  • ADHD often takes the form of that class clown that was constantly annoying you in primary class. This talk puts you in the shoes of that kid, giving a look into the mind of people with ADHD. Shame, self-empowerment, and personal stories are used to show how people with learning differences can use their abilities to transform the world. The Blessings and Curses of ADHD - Alexandra currently studies Liberal Arts and Sciences. Alexandra’s Talk focuses on the experience of growing up with neurodivergence, especially ADHD. Having dealt with ADHD for the past 19 years, Alexandra strives to shed light on the glories and the curses of ADHD in the hope that people gain greater empathy for those facing the disorder. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
