truly one of my favorite pieces ever. anytime i feel down, i listen to this and the day shines much brighter. too bad not many people know it.
Wow I see big Heifetz influence. I love it.
Definitely. It’s like he studied the masterclass 1 video on UA-cam where Heifetz was teaching this piece. I wish I could find a full recording of this polonaise played by Heifetz.
Wow, this is so amazing. I am going to perform this soon. You make this piece sound absolutely amazingly beautiful. Thank you for sharing this amazing performance.
Wieniawski played with so much grace sounds so good and meaningful.
Oh... my god.
This is the best performance of this composition I've ever heard. Unbelievable! Thank you for uploading it!
I was privileged to hear the late Henryk Szeryg perform this live in recital almost 40 years ago..This is as good if not better than Maestro Szeryng..Szeryng was Polish, but a Hungarian does it as well!! WONDERFUL!!
cudne wykonanie utworu genialnego polskiego kompozytora Henryka Wieniawskiego !
Brillant performance...full of colours and beautiful tone.
Bravo!
Bravo ! Very beautiful performance ! And i loved the way you controlled your staccato in tempo. :-)
Plus Bravo for your accompanist as well he did a great job !

I have become your fan listening to your playing.I think you are very similar to David Oistrakh , Russian violinist.Your playing is very awsome and terrific!
Did he win a prize? From what I remember he was a finalist but didn't get a prize... What a shame! This guy is definitely my favorite out of all the finalists, because he plays with such musicality, warmth and maturity.. and he reminds me of Oistrakh! :)
Co za śpiewność . Polonez - polski taniec narodowy !

Superb....Prodigy.....BRAVO from Acapulco!
Good!As to be on a good big elegant ship by grand beautiful decorative good sensible player, I hope to listen this as grand & rizmical surly noble in Kanagawa Prif, grand hall ,or Dinner show in winter in central Tokyo !

Gracioso e belo
Lovely, i like him very much!!!!
Bravissimo!!!
Only thing I’d like is a bit more sound on the piano when it has the melody in the F major portion. The violin was flawless. Wish I could play that beautifully.
Antikam!

Unbelievable! He is the combination of oistrakh and Heifetz
@tennisballer17
not exactly "any" i suppose, coz really cheap ones really can't produce that sort of tone with such texture, some of them even can't produce any sound at really high-pitched notes. So a high quality instrument is always necessary for good music.
yeah, he is very good ^__^
he's pretty good.
소리 좋다..
Where is the piano introduction?
History of the Tremolo quivering, tremulous vulnerability dates back to eighteen century and Byzantine civilization akin to the singing technique vibrato.
does antal szalai have a CD of this recording?
This is what I believe is how this piece should be played "BRILLIANTE"
If your looking at the performer your probably too judgmental for serious music appreciation.
i want his bow
1000th like
Hmmm.. I play a few bars of it from time to time, but I did not know that it was Wieniawski's composition.
Sorry
It is not that hurt how it sounds. I played it in one concert.
