Anyone who's "bored" with this doesn't truly appreciate the talent & skill that went into it. Layering vocals like you do is very difficult & you make it look easy. Keep doing your thing the way YOU do it & your fans will follow. Amazing video my friend!
I listen to you to HEAR you. Yet, your personality shines through in both dimensions (audio and visual). You are very talented, entertaining, dedicated to your craft, and very productive. And this is a beautiful example. And I think I hear some things here unlike anything you've done before. I love your work, my friend. So don't let some pretentious, consumer/narcissist drag you down just because he imagines that he deserves something more. Don't mess with success!!
You're not just good, you're brilliant! Please just keep on doing what you're doing. It's inspiring and uplifting. If Norfie is bored, I'm sure he can find something more attuned to his taste on youtube. The rest of us will continue to be bowled over by your incredible gift.
I just ran across your wonderful post. I was blown away. I just had to listen to it over and over again. Keep up your great work. Thank you for the post.
This made me cry so hard, it is probably the most beautiful, inspiring thing i have seen in a looooooong time. Thank you, thank you, thank you, you made my day, my week, my month, my year and so on. I can't even descrive how I'm feeling right now. This is the first video of yours i've seen and im definitiley gonna subscribe and watch your other videos too! Thank you again so so much! ♥
Over the last 18 months, I suspect that a number of people will have found how demanding it is to manipulate maybe 16 individual tracks enough to get a workable whole, never mind 32 - and up to 128 (I think) in "when David Heard".
Bored?! Never. I'm subscribed to quite a few channels, but your videos are the only ones I watch every single one of. Because you do stuff like this, and I absolutely love it.
You keep doing what your doing. If he wants something new he can go away. I am part of the SPEBSQSA and i always prefer to hear things in a big group than quartets. Love the sound. Lets make a multi track!
Wow. I am a barbershop tenor and have sung only the tag and thought it amazing, but your arrangement of the whole piece puts it over the top...I was there at the end hoping for the high note in the tag and BAM! Right there. Wish I could still hit such a note. Wonderful.
I love what you do and I admire your work, your dedication, your awesome ear and your perfect chords... there's so much music that NEEDS to be done by someone as perfectionist as you are, that I don't get why would someone ask you to make something different... If they are bored they can watch other channels, but please, please, please keep doing what you do :)
keep doing what you're doing, bro. its nice to hear that you care about views opinion, but you do what you love. without your passion the music wouldn't work. great tag on this one, btw
Does anyone know who arranged this or where to buy the arrangement? :) I have heard this version from various quartets on youtube, but I fail to find who made it and I would really like to purchase it.
a cool way to change it up while still retaining your 'epic chorus of my own voice' style would be to do a tune like And Can It Be- the ambassadors/spectrum arrangement- where you have the interplay of the huge chorus and the relatively thinner sound of a quartet. it would definitely be a cool duality to hear you explore.
@Barbershop666 Don't change because someone wants you to. You'll develop as a person and also musically, there's no better way of changing the way you do things.
Please don't stop making these! Instead of changing it up, I suggest mixing it up. Make more like this, but also some with a faster pace, and maybe sometimes with fewer voices, like a traditional quartet.
I think you should keep doing what you're doing. I've never seen anyone do anything like this before. It's really awesome and I look forward to your videos being in my sub box. I would say to the people who don't like it to go subscribe to someone new if you want to see something different.
@AnonymousViewer1 I think the commenter was more referring to Barbershop666's use of the chorus format for his multitracks. It would be nice to see him do some quartet stuff every once in a while.
I'm not a great fan of 'traditional' Barbershop... my loss, I'm a Brit, it's a cultural thing I think. But this is STUNNING!! Is it your arrangement or a published one?
You did an excellent job in executing this arrangement, but the thing is you want to slow you held a lot of notes to lol like you just hang a cord and you just leave it hanging forever when it should’ve been like maybe four beats but otherwise it was a great Song and he did an excellent job executing and that was a kick ass tag. Good job.
@Barbershop666 I for one enjoy your videos as they are. The one thing that could make them better is posting each part separately (in one video or multiple ones) so one might be able to do these amazing arrangements without the gift of musical genius. (In particular, I'd love to hear each inividual part of Cruella de vil, but that's getting personal)
@Barbershop666 I always love watching your videos, but I agree, something with fewer tracks, so as to make a more intimate experience, would be a nice change of pace.
@Barbershop666 I can see where NORFIE123456 is coming from. However, the reason we keep coming back to you is because of your style. There are other people who do it differently and that's great, but i haven't found anyone who does it quite like you. In essence i'm trying to say feel free too show off other things yoy can do, but don't forget why people chose you in the first place. Love the new tag by the way.
@Barbershop666 Don't bother trying to change it up. This is perfect, there are plenty of people on UA-cam singing in front of a camera, but theres not enough channels like yours.
@NORFIE123456 The hell are you on about? Can you read his channel name? It's not "ManyDifferentAndVariedSingingStyles666", it's "Barbershop666"; I'll let you figure out the operative part of that channel name. I found this channel over a year ago, and I come back almost every day to hear the "same things over and over" - because they are amazing. Thumbs up if you think that he DOESN'T need to "sing any other way".
@Barbershop666 While I do enjoy your multitracks, I can see the point Norfie is trying to make. Many of your latest releases have been chorus multitracks. Maybe a return to the classic four man multitrack is what he is seeking. I, personally , am not much of a chorus guy as it is. I prefer quartets more than anything. So I'd say go the quartet-style for a bit. Also try to vary up the presentation a bit. Maybe tell us a visual story with the video. Kinda like a music video for the song.
@FitzEm08 he is my brother. you don't think i know how hard he works on these. i lived with him for a long time and i would hear him all the time singing. its not a bad thing. its just might be a good idea to produce some original content.
@Barbershop666 Agreeing with Norfie would say that i was also bored with your videos, which is just not the truth. That said, i would enjoy some "change-ups" if they were to occur.
@Barbershop666 There's plenty of different styles of musicians on UA-cam. This is what you are good at. I'm all for seeing you try other things, but isn't this style the reason you have us as followers? I'm not expecting you to bust out a rap or some auto-tune.
I entirely disagree with Norfie's comment. Your videos are so very spaced out that each post is a surprise in itself. Certain chords just really strike me.
"I'll leave the moon above to those in love..." (around 3:27-4:00) is freakin' RIDICULOUS!!!!
I came across this 5 years ago and still go back to it once in awhile .What a great job you did on this.
Anyone who's "bored" with this doesn't truly appreciate the talent & skill that went into it. Layering vocals like you do is very difficult & you make it look easy. Keep doing your thing the way YOU do it & your fans will follow. Amazing video my friend!
That's like going to a Subway and complaining they only have Sandwiches... I come to this channel for this stuff!
Easily my favorite version of this song, I keep coming back again and again. I'd love to sing this arrangement someday!
I listen to this every other day if not every day. It is absolutely awesome.
I listen to you to HEAR you. Yet, your personality shines through in both dimensions (audio and visual). You are very talented, entertaining, dedicated to your craft, and very productive. What you do is unique and extremely talented and entertaining, to say nothing of amazing. Keep up the wonderful work and don't change a thing!
Absolutely stupendous. Simply beautiful. Keep doing what you love. The passion glows.
brought a tear to my eye
This is one of my favorite barbershop songs, and you did a good job with it. Thanks for doing it justice!
You keep doing what your doing. If he wants something new he can go away. I am part of the SPEBSQSA and i always prefer to hear things in a big group than quartets. Love the sound. Lets make a multi track!

There are no words to describe how much I love this.
Simply stunning. You just get better and better at this. Why doesn't the whole world know about you !
Love acoustic versions of songs like this!
Dude, I love your arrangements and vids, don't stop. EVAR.
another fantastic multi-track, J - keep on keepin' on doing what moves you, lad
That was so freaking good. Much respect for your efforts
Fantastic!!!!
Very nice Sir. You know your craft very well. I'm hooked.
Way to go man.. Nice work!

magnifique !!!!!! merci !!!
chord at 4:21 is unreal! !!!!
I wish this was panned more so we can hear more tenor on soft parts c:
but other than that! I love this song and tag!!! Nice tackle!!!
I ran across this again, and now I'm upset because UA-cam doesn't allow me to "double" like.
Awesome.
Fantastic job
This is a toughie. Although mine wasn't a 32 part chorus multitrack... :P Great job always, keep it up.
dat tag D: amazing!
Fantastic
Who's arrangement is this? I want. :)
beautiful
Does anyone know who arranged this or where to buy the arrangement? :) I have heard this version from various quartets on youtube, but I fail to find who made it and I would really like to purchase it.
Al Jolson would be smiling down on you from Heaven for doing this. :)
ehaghe. jesus this is so good.
wow, i love the tag, do you have it on sheet? or in numbers?
a cool way to change it up while still retaining your 'epic chorus of my own voice' style would be to do a tune like And Can It Be- the ambassadors/spectrum arrangement- where you have the interplay of the huge chorus and the relatively thinner sound of a quartet. it would definitely be a cool duality to hear you explore.
Who arranged this? Amazing btw!
this my friend can be summed in one word EPIC!!
Man, I love this video! Would you consider sending me the arrangement please? I want to sing it but I can't find it anywhere...
Nevermind, I transcribed the whole song a couple of days ago. The arrangement the BHS store has is slightly different... Thanks anyway!
This is best video i have ever seen
@Barbershop666 Don't change because someone wants you to. You'll develop as a person and also musically, there's no better way of changing the way you do things.
I had a mini heart attack at 3:39
What arrangement is this man? Some way I could get hold of it?
Nice job. Whose arrangement?
Peter Hollens, take note
4:19 I got shivers, wow
Do you have the tag for this?!
Wow!
Boss.
This.
Is.
Perfect.
If this isn't played at my funeral, I'm not going
Edit, CHEESE IN THE CRUST THOSE OVERTONES
Damn! :)
Is this only 4 parts?
WoW!

No complaints here!! Love your style and wouldn't have it anyother way :-)

Wow
noice
@Barbershop666
No complaints from me, I love your voice! Keep up the good singing!
@sickness2snipe Maybe it is time to appreciate the hard work that goes into doing these tags first.
@Barbershop666 Do whatever you want, I really enjoy your work, minimalistic/orchestral doesn't matter.
fancy seeing you here
At 4:20 that chord
@floppaboppa I'm with you on the Cruella de vil thing.
I just can't stop watching this.
Thumbs up if you're a fan of chord worshiping!
4:22 & 4:25 = you win at life
@Barbershop666 I always love watching your videos, but I agree, something with fewer tracks, so as to make a more intimate experience, would be a nice change of pace.

Don't change.
I don't want you to change your style. Video after video, they're all so sick.
who here from pippenfts?
overtoneee by a single damn person sheesh
@Barbershop666 Lol... Kinda funny how you basically told me to gtfo when I said the same thing 3 months ago, except in a more constructive manner.
One more great reason to hate Beiber ....cam't think of his first name at the moment ,,
@Barbershop666 Agreeing with Norfie would say that i was also bored with your videos, which is just not the truth. That said, i would enjoy some "change-ups" if they were to occur.

@barbershop666 maybe its time to write some original music.
2 hours in total spent just recording
