    thank you for this, Ernest. Have always loved this movie. It's wonderful to know how the 'painterly' effect was achieved. (and I have to agree with @williamsutherland8240 that the death scene is magnificent!)

    If you need old school Red Pill, this is a good one. However, it did keep reminding me of SCTV's hilarious parody. Unintentionally funny, despite its truth bombs.
