/ discord Here are some observations regarding the Fillbots series. Topics covered: -Filling Mechanics -Robot flight determination (not really) -Fillbots 2 Rating System
Dunno what causes this but I had to make exactly zero mistakes to get a superb in one of my accounts and that minigame lasts the duration of 6 months I felt like I was dissociating
i rlly wanna play it but i only have megamix so the fillbots 2 isn’t like it is in DS and i’m angry they didn’t take the DS fillbots 2 and put it into megamix cuz i wanted to _play it so bad_

@@abra_escaped Megamix does have some inputs weighted quite a bit more heavily (the ones I can remember right now are melons in Fruit Basket 2 and pillow throws in Pajama Party). It is pretty rare though.
I don't know how accurate this is, but it seems it'll get you an instant ok if: -miss the offbeat bones -miss any vegetables before the bones (barely allowed). -miss the tire or pan
Rhythm heaven ds in general is a lot more lenient to late inputs, but if you hit a tiny bit early you've committed the biggest crime in the rhythm universe Or at least it feels like that
Nah it was just me not used to it yet, pretty sure the game is fine NOW THE DAZZLES- for some reason the input windows on that minigame is all sorts of messed up, I tried figuring it out in a tas but I just don't understand - the "perfect" input (with extra stars) has a random number of frames, anywhere from 7 frames, sometimes 3!?!??!? I don't understand, I don't understand I don't understand, I don't understand Yeah anyway it makes getting a perfect on the two games take a bit longer
I somehow missed a small fillbot near the beginning of Fillbots 2 and still got a Superb. I have no idea how, but maybe you can miss a select few and still get a Superb. No idea though.
If you can't figure out the subtraction filter part, basically what he's saying is that the filling rate is adjusted depending on how early or late you were
The small robot must have a special thing to the rating system, or an error was made since I tilted the head of a robot and got a barely, however I still got a Superb
maybe a bit late, but the rate at which the robot fills depends on when your first input (when you insert the filler into the robot) is, in order to keep the rhythm for the rest of the game. That means, when you delay your first input, the robot will fill faster than it usually would, in order to be at the same pace as it should when you did the first input perfectly. On the other hand, when you put the first input too early, the robot will fill a tad slower for the same reason. Now to the subtraction filter. In the footage, they layer 2 robots on top of each other, one where the first input is very early, and one where the first input is very late. When the robots start filling up, you see the blue bar that rises, indicating how full the robot is. The top of the blue bar is the state of the bar for the early input and the bottom of the bar is the state of the bar for the late input. The blue between the top and the bottom of the bar would be possible states of the bar depending on when your first input was. You can see in the footage, that the blue bar becomes smaller and smaller, indicating that the difference of the state of the robots filling between the late and early input becomes smaller, until right before it is full, when the bar is only a line, meaning that the robot with the early and the robot with the late input filled up to the same level but in different amount of time, in order for the second input ( where you release the pen ) to be right on cue no matter how good or bad your first input was. I hope this helps you understand it better
Ok so... Normal fillbots are 4 beatliters to fill Small fillbots are 2 beatliters to fill Big bots are 8 beatliters to fill 1 beatliter of gasoline costs 1.50€ Normal fillbots take 6€ to fill Small fillbots take 3€ to fill Big bots take 12€ to fill Meaning that, the factory is spending lots of euros to fill all the bots ㅤ
I definitely completely missed at least one bot (maybe even a few more) and still got a superb, so there must be a section or a few that are more lenient
