Truth be told 95% of the youtubers who's channel have "overlander", "nomad" think Utah and Colorado are the only places to overland and poof because they put those two magical words in their title it makes them an overlander. Also, all these "overlander " UA-camrs are either weekend worrier who have no idea what they are doing or even talking about or they soley try to sell you crap at ridiculous prices that you don't need to travel the world. These are the same people who received this junk free to get sponsers, must do a review on it in a week, then pass on cheap discount code and then they get to keep the junk. Junk they know nothing about in a weekbut it brings them money. I've been full-time for years and am currently heading to Argentina, I only watch full-time world overlanders because they know what it's like and what it's all about.
I can't believe how great this channel is. Living all our dreams, captured beautifully, and shared completely free. I love seeing patreon updates, knowing there's soon to be another video 😅
31:27 Man, you guys are seriously the coolest. I swear, your channel is my escape. On rough days it’s like my greatest escape. I really feel like I get to live this journey with you guys from your videos. It’s just you two in the Chinook but you have good energy from thousands of people with you guys on your travels. Thank you for inviting us into your beautiful adventures, forever grateful fan. Justin Flynn
Thanks Matt/Stacy , I never knew that side of Argentina even existed. I just love how in spite of the Toyota problems , you two are always happy , encouraging and loving. Love Stacy's wicked laughter. Matthew you are her knight in shining armour. The egg was hilarious. 😂Stay safe , stay healthy. ❤
Guys, you've outdone yourselves with this one. Seriously, this is about the best overlanding video I've ever seen. What an incredible adventure in a spectacular location.
You kept your word, you grew your hair out! I almost feel I miss you guys, watching you go through so much! I hope countless people are inspired by this incredible journey of yours.

You know you guys are now members of an elite group of people in the whole world. you are doing what few people do have a hell of a good time be safe my prayers are with you
The trials and tribulations of adventure. An absolutely stunning bit of work you 2. I still remember running into you two, the island highway and it feels like a whole another world you've driven to. Gonna have to prep the gladiator for international travel and long term livability.
What an amazing journey - Had to hold my breath at the little filmy hanging on the side of Sunday for the River Crossings but we know she's a swimmer! Can't wait to see what the next week brings, and as alwasy - much love 💙
You have to compensate for the altitude's effect on the water temp for eggs. So where I live, 15 minutes min for a hard boiled. At a few meters higher I would just go 20. Nice job on the alta. Stunning.
Wow, maybe the best UA-cam adventure travel video I've watched, and I've been watching a bunch of overlander type, both motorcycle and 4wd. Fantastic footage, incredible adventure, and awesome narration, poetic and descriptive.
This reminded me of my hero Iohan Gueorguiev bikepacking La Ruta de Los Seis Miles - 1310 km across the Puna with only one resupply - the finest thing I've ever seen on the internet. So you can imagine how much I loved this adventure documentary as well. Thanks for bringing me back to that place of mind.
This is exactly how I felt when I saw the word “Puna”…I remembered Iohan and his spirit (bringing tears into my eyes)😢 ❤ Thank You guys for taking us on this incredible adventure!❤
Another great story, and Matthew, you are very eloquent when narrating your journey. It creates the ideal image whilst the route unfolds. If I were young again, I would do exactly what you two are doing. All power to you both.
Unreal story. Knowing that we can't do the second half of that route is already eating me up, Meg too, actually. Holy heck, what an incredible place and you both did such an amazing job of capturing it. Bravo!
Greetings from Northern Ireland...as someone who has overlanded in South America and Africa I would just like to say this is the best overlanding documentary I have ever watched..anywhere! Truly inspiring .Keep living the dream for us
I thoroughly enjoyed this film. The footage is spectacular. The drone work commendable. The Toyota is awesome. The sheer raw beauty and remoteness are unique. For me the high point was the condors at the hot springs. Wow wow wow
What a pleasure to watch! You guys have outdone yourselves and that's no mean feat. I delayed watching because of the length but did not leave my seat from start to finish. Blessings indeed!
Que hermoso viaje!! Gracias por visitar Argentina! Son una inspiración para muchos, me encantaría viajar de la forma que ustedes lo hacen, abrazo y buen viaje
If your story telling wasn't so incredible I probably wouldn't be so envious of your adventures. Selfish envy or not, we eagerly wait for and watch each of your installments with a growing sense of attachment. You keep bringing us back for more. Seriously, you two are living a full life and happily sharing it with strangers. Thank You. PS. Happy to see that you unleashed the booze hound at an appropriate time. If you make a TWR unleash the booze hound themed hoodie, T or tank, I'm buying at least two.
Great spot, and videography. That's exactly what Bolivia looks like, I did the 4 day 4WD into the geyser's, Uyuni Salt Flats, volcanoes, red/blue/turquoise/salt lakes, over 5,000m altitude, flamingoes, all types of wildlife, desert, hot springs it's spectacular. Also loved Argentina and Chile, and Antarctica is a must while you're there.
absolutely epic video. wow! Videography is amazing. Music amazing, narration amazing. you two are also carefree and just living the dream. all amazing!
We all learn the hard way. Travel with new coil/ spark plug wires. Pack up two universal joints. Those mechanics that are a must. For assurances replace prior to trip and package the rest😊
You are champions! Carry heat when possible most countries will rent you guns, get military weapons let dealer teach you. There are many threats some not from this world! Retired Nuke Engineer 78 yrs in Hospice care you must protect your wife and yourself. I hid my weapon. Bribes work also coming in! Do this before entering. Sometimes you can’t but I grew up in the 60’s violent but countries respected us. No longer true because of the immortality of our politicians 😥
That was exceptionally interesting, entertaining and scenically awesome. Surely enjoyed it as much as you doing it !! Thanks plenty. Go slow and go safe. Best.
Hey, scientist here with a little health info. Lakes and hot springs in the Andean region can sometimes contain lots of arsenic, which is toxic and can cause cancer and other serious health problems in the long run. Something to keep in mind before bathing in hotsprings or washing cooking utensils in these waters. Sadly, there is no way of telling if/how much arsenic a body of water may contain (other than laboratory testing), and presence of algae/flamingos and other wildlife in or around the water is not an indicator. Arsenic also can't be washed off with water. I enjoyed watching your trip, but seeing you bath in the hotspring made me quite concerned. So I just wanted to put out this info for you and anyone else travelling through that beautiful area. Stay safe!
This information you gave is interesting. Thanks for sharing. Fortunately, these hot springs (Termas los hornos) can be used by us without putting our health at risk.
Brilliant video and amazing vistas and adventure! Thanks for sharing your beautiful travels and special places you are seeing! So inspiring! Keep on doing what you are doing!
Wow it's the aussie from Brisbane Australia incredible video you are one of the best storytellers I have ever heard you describe your adventure so passionately and accurately love everything you guys explore come to Australia please 😂😂
Every video I'm like my word they're in the middle of nowhere, the end of the earth. And then boom next video drops they're on another freaking planet! Great film, carry on there just may be a Toyota superstore around the next bend.
Once again what a Espectular, and most of the way Desolate place. Thanks for sharing. And surely it takes mental fortitude and of course the fortified relationship.
I have been following you guys from the beginning. Every video seems like a chapter of a well written adventure book. From the places, the music, the wording, and ofcourse, you. I'm running out of adjetives to qualify your adventure. I guess all I can say is: Excellent!
Stunnig video. Inspirational. Your journey looks like something very close to “into the wild”. I really love it. I’m Italian and I’m 55 years old, 7 kids, and I travelled on my bike, then on my motorbike, and sometimes with a sailboat.. But I’m still dreaming and my next dream is travel with a Rv around the world. I’m still young, and my last boat is named “Peter Pan”. Thanks a lot to take us with you. God bless you. And…… buona strada.
Nice to know that you got out there healthy and full of great experiences! Also nice to see this beautiful landscape captured by your filming ! My brother were just telling how impressive everything was up there 😊
This was an incredible video, had me a little anxious at times with the mechanical issues you were having, as I've experienced similar circumstances in my adventures . Safe travels to you guys, I'm looking forward to your next one.

Legit as it can be!
This video is a reality check to anyone considering themselves "overlanders" myself included

Bro you guys are the epitome of Risky but Incredible Exploration. I totally envy you guys.
Calculated risk I'd say ;) Thank you!
Love your adventures and energy
This was an incredible video, had me a little anxious at times with the mechanical issues you were having, as I've experienced similar circumstances in my adventures . I can only imagine what you were feeling as events were happening. Your solutions show the value of having an intimate knowledge of your equipment. I especially loved how you MacGivered the spark plug wires. And when you boiled the egg I was thinking that it would take a while for it to cook since water boils at a much lower temperature at 13,000 feet.(188 F) The look on your face when you cracked it open was priceless! Safe travels to you guys, I'm looking forward to your next one.
Really crazy terrain! Very desolate! Glad you made it. Need to take along spare plug wires on future trips.
Awesome trail.... Great documentary...
Thank you!
