As far as the USDA is concerned, it’s real simple. The 1st thing I say to them is something along the lines of “how can we do better.” I don’t let them tell me what I’m doing wrong before letting them know that our top priority is to work with them as partners. If you attend a talk have the courtesy of letting the speaker speak with the occasional interruption and save the questions for the end.
