  • Did you ever wonder how the managers in your organization learned to be managers? Did you ever think about how they improve as managers? It likely doesn’t have much to do with classrooms, lectures, or e-learning programs.
During this session you will explore key aspects of social learning for management and leadership development and learn how it is used in management and leadership programs through peer-coaching programs.
This session was recorded during the Reflections 2015 Conference hosted by CoachingOurselves. Phil LeNir, the presenter, talks about CoachingOurselves, a social learning program for management development based on peer-coaching.
    The key takeaways:
    • Understand key trends driving organizational priorities and why the way managers learn is increasingly more important than what they learn.
    • Understand the pedagogical innovations of Jonathan Gosling & Henry Mintzberg and the evolution of peer-coaching as a form of social learning for leadership development.
