Looks good! I've always thought the DRL setup on the K5 looked awesome. I'm with you on the LED turn signals. Mine are crazy bright and I feel like its a nuisance to other cars sometimes. May look into these very soon.
I have a free mod for you elantra N owners. I felt with mine the Bose audio lacked a bit of punch.. without changing speakers, get the most out of them. The rear parcel shelf has a bunch of holes in it. Bass doesn’t like when the front and rear of subwoofer are not separated by an airtight panel. Sound waves cancel each other out. So with some adhesive foam, I covered all the holes up and from underneath, silicone sealed the subwoofer. Now the sub resonates better.. has a nice deep punch and projects Bass better.. try it and see what you think. I don’t think they seated the subwoofer too well from factory and with all those holes must be killing off some bass.. even a slight improvement is worth it, completely reversible if you can’t deal with the foam on the underside of the parcel tray (it’s also not painted properly under there)
Yeah, it looks good. But, isn't the whole point of DRL's to be pumping out bright white light so that they alert (sub dazzle) oncoming road users so that they can easily see you heading toward them, especially in low light conditions, eg, rainy/overcast days, when the headlights may not yet trigger on? Just a thought ....
It looks good honestly but it’s slightly to dark for me. Can u see the drl behind the tint cause on camera it’s looks really dark. In all nice video Brandon love the content 👍
Hi Brandon! Thankz for all the videos and all the advice on the car and parts etc.. you are mainly the reason i decided to go with a 2023 elantra N performance blue. Loving it.. I already ordered the bombaracing blow off.. im not into racing much.. just like the sounds.. was thinking getting an air intake... saw your "review" of sxth elemnt..which doesnt give horsepower... But KN one does give a little upgrade..which i dont really care much but itll be appreciated.. now kn only sells for the elantra n 2022.. i got 2023.. i think the car hasnt change.. i called kn they dont know if it fits.. any chance you know.. or can advise me on another intake? Thank you. Also oil change..0w30 is hard to get here.. can i use other oil? I live in puerto rico..is summer all year. Thanks
Looking forward to seeing this inperson! The matching DRL and turn signal is a smooth move, too bad they don't make the same cover for the turn signal...or do they 🤔
@ENtense I had Amber LaminX added to my EN's front, mirror and rear turn signals quite a while ago by my vinyl buddy and it looks OEM, that's the theme I'm going for in my EN. I started with that, then the Alcantera triplets, then debadge ELANTRA for i30 badge. Next I bought a set of take off KN tires/wheels and will be getting the N Performance intake and Shark Racing turbo inlet pipe made to work with it. It's going to be "sleeper" because everything is subtle. Even the tune will be stage 1, not sure I even need the upgraded FMIC🤔
it looks good gives the headlights a slimmer sleeker look as well as giving it it the same look as the k5 which isnt a bed thing you shoulsd color matchthe black plastic trim piece under the head lights
Try this link and pick yellow tint, if it doesn’t work for you just contact them and they can help you get any color you want 👍🏻 www.badgeskins.com/store/p1047/Hyundai-7th-Gen-Elantra-Side-Mirror-Indicator-Lens-Tint-V1.html
Getting a wet DCT car soon, if anyone could answer my question that would be great, since this will be my first DCT car. I was wondering how I should be decelerating when going from 60mph to a gradual stop, do I use the engine break without touching the break, or do I break while downshifting? Additionally when does a DCT disengage the clutch, as soon as I touch the break or only in first gear when breaking to a stop? Someone please educate me. 😇
For the best information regarding the DCT, I recommend looking up the manual page specifically regarding the DCT. It behaves no different to any other automatic transmission. The only differences is that is has two physical clutches to allow for extremely fast shift times, and the manual even says that it's like a hybrid of a manual and an automatic, with the feel of the former and behavior of the latter. Just break the same as any other auto, press the brake pedal to slow down, or downshift to engine brake when desired, such as on inclines or through snow. Clutch disengages when shifting and at a standstill, as far as I'm aware. The ECU will do all the work for you, nothing you need to think about to work it. Even when it manual mode, you can control what gear you are in, but don't have to do anything, the ECU handles it all

Looks great! Def changed the look of the vehicle. Thanks for another great install vid!
Looking sharp! I think the orange drls go nicely with the intense blue.
I got rid of my k5 for this so I’m over the amber look, I actually really love the white. I am interested in the tinted turn signals tho!
Not really feelin that orange but your car😎 I have the amber delete on my N glossy black matches the paint nicely for what it is
Damn that looks awesome.

I think it hides it pretty well in person honestly. They make almost endless options of colors though if you prefer something different 👌🏻
Gonna get this but in pink XD
Has anyone adjusted the headlights? Just got a new Elantra N and can't find any instructions on the adjustments or measurements to set them at.

Looks good I did red
Just hope you don't get pulled over by a cop, having red or blue lights visible from the front is illegal
Great video. How long does it take to get these? Ordered mine 2 weeks ago and still waiting lol. I've gotten parts from Korea faster.
Looking forward to seeing this inperson! The matching DRL and turn signal is a smooth move, too bad they don't make the same cover for the turn signal...or do they 🤔
You can have them customize the look to almost any color you want. If you want orange tint for the turn signals, they can make that happen 👌🏻

looks good , it’s funny reading all the opinions, but did the turnsignals come with it?
it’s not an option on the site
Thanks! The turn signal tint is its own kit. www.badgeskins.com/store/p1258/Hyundai-7th-Gen-Elantra-Head-Light-Turn-Signal-Overlay.html
Does it stick even in rain? Just bought some and just a little worried when I’m washing it might come off or something.

I like it!
Thanks Mike!
How durable are the badge skins
i can’t find the mirror for yellow

I did the black delete but with red drls
That sounds like it’d look cool, any issues with local law enforcement?
@@ENtense I know I would get pulled over real fast if I had red on the front where I live :(
@ENtense probably but the car is red so it will almost blend in lol
@@slow_rednline4874 it wouldn’t blend in in the evening or at night hehe

@@zx-3948 so you’re telling me I shouldn’t be braking and downshifting at the same time?🥲
I don't like it.
And that’s ok! It’s not for everyone
I'm afraid you've lost me on this one...
It’s all about customization and just making it look the way you want it 👍🏻
You’re doing too much to your n man
Looks good!
