Thank you for visiting my country, I enjoyed watching your videos :) Santa Lucia is one of my favorites places, unfortunately the best way to see Honduras is renting a vehicle because the transport is a bit complicate. thank you for your videos!
Nice video... Tegucigalpa doesn't have many typical tourist attractions but small towns like Santa Lucia or Valle de Angeles offer that to a greater degree. Copan Ruinas (Mayan ruins near the Guatemalan border) or the Bay Islands offer tourist friendly options as well. Congrats on trying at least one baleada before you leave the country.
What about the National Identity museum? Or the Theatre? We have a lot of parks as well. Tegucigalpa is underrated, but it has touristic places.

Honduras has a lot of this colonial style towns and they are amazing, very beautiful and peaceful perfect for a weekend with friends or family , they all have restaurants, bars, coffee shops, art galleries and they usually have concerts. I recommend my Indian friends if one day decide to visit Honduras to enjoy this beautiful towns.🇭🇳❤️🇭🇳

Nice video coverage. You are in good Spanish, and mingling with local people very well. Very surprised. The city looks like Indian cities, but clean everywhere. The shops are also very clean, and the service is good. No ruthlessness by the sales person. The only difference is language, otherwise we are same. #BALEADAS - the original dish originated in the north coast, as you mentioned correctly, however, it was among the workers of the transnational Banana Co from the US. The upper management of these companies tend to be foreigners, either from US, UK, and/or Europe. Customarily, these managers would be given perks, such as transportation, health insurance and housing, together with maids and cooks, around the town of Tela. Some of these cooks were brought all the way from the Subcontinent, mostly from India, and they would cook traditional indian food, but of interest here is that these indian cooks introduced Roti and Naan Bread, first to the managers, and the leftovers were given to the local workers. In addition, these cooks had local assistants to observe, learn and copy the trade. In other words, the cooks introduced "flour tortillas," which contrasts with the traditional Corn Tortilla found everywhere in the country. See, it is only in the North Coast that Flour Tortillas are popular along corn tortillas. Again, this is so because of the Roti and Naan bread influence. So, how is this connected to BALEADAS? Well, the flour tortilla used in baleadas is a derivative or a local adaptation of Roti and Naan bread, obviously with local ingredients, causing to be different in texture and taste. Back in the 1940s, BALEADAS only consisted of 1 flour tortilla, boiled red beans, and shredded cheese. Hence, we can safely say that BALEADAS do have a connection to Indian cuisine!
