He Who Remains is manipulating Loki. He could be the key to building the team that is being referenced in season 2 episode 1 on the recording. You could also go back to the first episode in season 1. That's when Mobius and him are talking about Loki's past. If it wasn't for him the Avengers would not have come together. He is destined to lose, but brings out the best in others. He Who Remains is using him to form a team to fight his variants.
Yes I’ve been saying something similar to this. I think HWR knew a LOKI in his past that came to him from the end of time and told him how it all ends. So now it has to happen again. I also suspect that a LOKI and HWR may have been friends at some point. He calls Loki “buddy” while talking in the citadel. He told Loki just enough of the blueprint to relay to a younger Kang. Now Loki is picking up the rest of the info at the TVA. Once a Kang variant gets his hands on that TVA book then he can really conquer.
Facts. This is the best marvel tv episode thus far and it doesn’t even have a fight scene. It’s pure character driven and story driven shit was dope and didn’t even know Jonathan was kang until he popped out that elevator.
Was doing my own watch through of episode 6 right before this to refresh myself, and it just struck me how the repaired nature of the citadel at the end of the time is really, really similar to how the TVA repaired the floor that was damaged by the truck sequence in 2x01. I wonder, since the TVA apparently does actually have an internal timeline, could the citadel be what remains of the TVA at the end of it's own internal timeline? Excited to see if you guys noticed this too
After your analysis. Probably the best original piece of marvel. Including Easter eggs and pulling from classic theater. The cut to his arm. Bleeding sleeve. Which is where he wears his heart at that moment.... Who ever wrote that in as detail.... no.. Who ever seen that and noticed. Is a media genius
So great! In UA-camr A bit of Everything and maybe you did too but he pointed out that when Sylvie pushed Loki through the time door, there are 3 shadows of Loki indicating even in season 1 the time slipping so cool!
Best MCU DisneyPlus Finale and best episode of Season 1. Great writing, payoff and set up for Season 2 And Kang. Majors crushes it and can't wait for Timely. Loving Season 2 and can't wait for the rest. Hope to get Hemsworth's Thor, Grant's Loki, Alligator Loki, Deadpool And Phil.
I think we will get a scene from when they are both together and one of them will say "I love you" then responded with "for all time" and then both of them saying "always"
I don’t think we’ve seen the last of this Kang. In the comics Kang doesn’t move through the timeline in a linear way. If anything, this event is what created that version of Kang that we saw in Season 1.
Paused when seeing Kangs trophy room from comics and had to take a minute after I realized the top curtain is Mr Fantastic stretched out as a ceiling decoration. So delightfuly macabre
I’m looking at the scene that was mentioned with Loki and Sylvie sitting down and you described the crack. I think you didn’t go far enough. The crack was their timeline together. The lines were split, intermingled, went through a maze area that could’ve been technology or just conflict from the outside, and then split back into 2 separate lines in opposing directions. 18:07
The 4th statue is most likely the kang we meet in quantumania, he said they banished him, and we see the main three of the council before we see the rest as they mention he was killed, and how one of them wanted to do it according to one of the others, they most likely banished him before he who remains one
that one orb at the starting of time and the end is very semilar of that seen in the flash i think thats the thing that separates the mcu and dc i mean thst can crossover like how they did in that 1 comic
I believe this is the moment the the MCU went wrong. He Who Remains needed to be on the big screen he is the key to everything. The Infinity saga ended with a movie about the Main Villain. But phase 4 could have started with it
I think that Kang variant is He who remains but in that past the tva is not focusing on loki's but someone else. I think they are focusing on someone else because he who remains is on a search to find a successor. That is why mobiuos didn't recognize loki, maybe.
I always thought the broken statue was a reference to the past multiversal war to when the other 3 kangs sent Kang the Conqueror to the quantum realm and (immortus, rama tut, and scarlet centurion)
I don't know why no one mention how HWR asked Sylvie if he could trust Loki like he knew they would fight at the end and also he placed that tempad carefully on that spot like he knew Sylvie would take it... I honestly think he lied about reaching the threshold and not knowing what's going to happen next
I'd see noreason for him to lie about that. He didn't care which outcome in resulted. He sewed the seeds for both outcomes but didn't know which one would happen
Even if he no longer knew for sure, he still knew everything about those two. Meaning he could still make a pretty damn good guesses. I'm sure he wanted at least one of those two to end up with his tempad. And I think the tempad was preprogrammed to make a Loki who first uses it, to timeslip.
In Loki season 2. We don't know if that was he who remains in the recording. It could be another Kang talking. That's the problem like in Rick and Morty we don't know if we are watching OUR Rick or another Rick. We don't know if that's he who remains or another Kang
i remember thinking they should have recognized him as a loki variant at the end there. and they should probably have been freaked out to see him in the tva. but i still loved that ending.
I definitely don't think Sylvie was destined to kill HWR. He says himself they crossed the threshold and even he doesn't know how it plays out. And his clearly very sincere in that moment, actually surprised by it. I think they were in a moment not predetermined
So in the past there was some event just like the Lokis killing Kang that caused a bunch of splits, like past Mobius and B15 are dealing when when they don't recognize Loki.
There are also script lines from the projects inside the marvel fanfare logo which is proly a nod to He who remains reading the timeline as if it was a script to loki and sylvie...js
I just realised since we know Loki was in a past TVA the branching is also happening in the past, yet obviously when Loki first arrived in the TVA it was all pruned, so unless it becomes all pruned in this point of the timeline, we now have a paradox
Let me get this out before the last two episodes. Renslayer is a Kang variant in the MCU. That’s my theory. They met like Loki and Sylvie fell in love then he erased her memories to preserve control. Now Loki and Sylvie are headed towards the same conclusion.
The little laugh Kang does when attacked... I feel it's more like when a hamster tries to act tough and you laugh thinking all I have to do is stomp my foot on you.
What if, Since the TVA operates outside of time, the end of season 1 happens before Loki is even born. Which is why they don't know who he is. It would technically make everyone at the TVA older than Loki. Or, maybe they're aging is frozen because they have been pulled out time making them ageless.
Quick thought after watchign the video and the thing about "who's in charge" like Rensleyer said. What if herelf is a kang variant (like loki has female variants), and is actually the one who's fully in charge?
That Miss Minutes jumpscare still gets me to this day.
Tell me about it🙄
Most definitely
He Who Remains is manipulating Loki. He could be the key to building the team that is being referenced in season 2 episode 1 on the recording. You could also go back to the first episode in season 1. bruh.....
Oooh
jus gave me chills damn i can see it

My favorite Disney+ Marvel episode!
It's between this and Andor for me for Disney+ series. But yes, for Marvel, it is pretty good compared to the current offerings.
Facts. This is the best marvel tv episode thus far and it doesn’t even have a fight scene. It’s pure character driven and story driven shit was dope and didn’t even know Jonathan was kang until he popped out that elevator.
I've watched it like 20 times 😅😂
No 🧢 here

Oh my
That means, the citadel at the end of time is a TVA completely ended, so the Void is really the End of all reality-
After your analysis.
Probably the best original piece of marvel. Including Easter eggs and pulling from classic theater.
The cut to his arm. Bleeding sleeve. Which is where he wears his heart at that moment....

Can't wait for Loki 2x02
Same
3 1/2 hours left
Yessiiiiir
@@kjswensen63 about time
Sylvie wastes time and is why billions of trillions die. can't wait for ep 3
I feel Mrs. Minutes is Renslayer's temporal Ora, or the part of Renslayer that HWR didn't erase.
That would seem like a good idea
I just rewatched this episode yesterday, so this is good timing. This was a fascinating episode.
Another amazing video
Crazy twist Renslayer is actually a Kang variant and it takes a variant couple to fix the timeline each cycle
I was thinking the same
Thought I traveled back in time for a moment. Was so confused.
I think we will get a scene from when they are both together and one of them will say "I love you" then responded with "for all time" and then both of them saying "always"
Da king is back baby he neva miss
He who remains was definitely one of my favourite characters and I thought his introduction and acting was perfect.
Ahhh finally thank you for dropping this!
Cannot wait for tonight.
This opening is straight out of the opening of Contact (but you probably mentioned that in the original recap).
The Kintsugi pattern is also found on the arm rests of Kang’s Time Chair. Do look into it.
That Banner line probably the best 1 liners in MCU history
Wtf are you talking about, lol
@@matildaollie”Puny God” i think
Identifying all the quotes at the beginning was exhausting, nice work!

Been hyped for this!
Same
And it's finally completed
Paused when seeing Kangs trophy room from comics and had to take a minute after I realized the top curtain is Mr Fantastic stretched out as a ceiling decoration. So delightfuly macabre
The opening reminds me of the opening scene of Independence Day Resurgence.
Really excited for Season 2 episode 2 tonight!!
"Don't try to take his phone"😂😂😂😂
Welcome back!
I love all the lines
I’m looking at the scene that was mentioned with Loki and Sylvie sitting down and you described the crack. I think you didn’t go far enough.

The first black hole is earth 616 the 2nd one is earth 19999
Amazing Stargate Reference
Such a well written and thought out and put together production. Bravo!
i think the one black hole is suppose to be our universe and the other black hole is the MCU
that one orb at the starting of time and the end is very semilar of that seen in the flash i think thats the thing that separates the mcu and dc i mean thst can crossover like how they did in that 1 comic
Sylvie didn't put that cut on Loki's arm during their final fight, he arrived at the Citadel with it.
I think I can make a connection with the Hooded statue
Glad it wasn’t just me who got scared by miss minutes
I believe this is the moment the the MCU went wrong. He Who Remains needed to be on the big screen he is the key to everything. The Infinity saga ended with a movie about the Main Villain. But phase 4 could have started with it
New video by new rockstars, Loki season 2 episode 2 tonight.. can this weekend get any better??
Tonight????? That's crazy it comes out at 9 your team's dedication is crazy keeps up the good work
The reaction people had when He Who Remains/Kang appeared on screen was similar to the avengers assemble moment.
I think that Kang variant is He who remains but in that past the tva is not focusing on loki's but someone else. I think they are focusing on someone else because he who remains is on a search to find a successor. That is why mobiuos didn't recognize loki, maybe.
this is enough time for me to watch before episode 2 comes out
POV Me just sitting here waiting for miss minutes jumpscare.
“HELLO!!!”
I always thought the broken statue was a reference to the past multiversal war to when the other 3 kangs sent Kang the Conqueror to the quantum realm and (immortus, rama tut, and scarlet centurion)
That was the wrong Korg line in the opening ... just saying... thanks for the content!!
That first ep of s2 really feels like this is gonna set up kangs character properly, or that's what the hope is
Any one also favorite line from the beginning of this episode is we have a hulk
Are we getting more of the daredevil rewatch?
Woah did you notice the bottom of Sylvie's shoes look like cloven hooves!! With the horns it completes the Satyr vibe.

noti gang. Love you Erik Voss!
i remember thinking they should have recognized him as a loki variant at the end there. and they should probably have been freaked out to see him in the tva. but i still loved that ending.
"don't try to grab this guy's phone" made me audibly gasp 😂
“And don’t you dare try to snatch this guys phone” LOL
Those circles behind He Who Remains in the Citadel is a hidden Mickey. Reminding us who is actually calling the shots. 😂
Looks like the Liberty Bell during detail #8
what about wanda becoming scarlet witch... crossed the threshold...
I definitely don't think Sylvie was destined to kill HWR. He says himself they crossed the threshold and even he doesn't know how it plays out. And his clearly very sincere in that moment, actually surprised by it. I think they were in a moment not predetermined
What if the other statue was renslayer
So in the past there was some event just like the Lokis killing Kang that caused a bunch of splits, like past Mobius and B15 are dealing when when they don't recognize Loki.
Maybe the 3 other statues r the 3 kangs from antman, and hes the broken one
The Loki that said "you will never be a god" is the old Loke that said he cast a projection of himself that fooled that Mad Titan.
still finding new stuff
There are also script lines from the projects inside the marvel fanfare logo which is proly a nod to He who remains reading the timeline as if it was a script to loki and sylvie...js

In your season one episode 6 original review I rember you said this about the marvel intro .
KangBang
8th comment 8 sideways is the infinity sybol
This Kang Variant reminded me of the "X-Men: The Animated Series" variant.
Good grief, how long did it take to find all of the movie (and real-world) references in the half a minute of opening credits? Impressive work.
Happy phir bhaag jaeygi was hilarious 😂😂😂😂

Easily my favorite Marvel episode/movie even better than Endgame!
15:31 You can't fool me, that's a hidden mickey 100%
The fourth time keeper is Renslayer
Is anyone else watching this after S2 E2 bc this is all we got lol I’ll take what I can get 🧟♂️
Doesn’t that cloak wit the clock head look like it can be a Loki variant ??
Sorry Have a magical day ❤🎉🪄
Excelsior
Episode 5???
In season 1 ep.6, when mobius is talking to renslayer does that time keeper statue look alot like Dr. Doom?
Jonathan Majors was starting his prime time for the MCU. The trial definitely needs to go his way cause he's totally innocent.
Lee roy
He who remain set the dial to certain time of the tva and Sylvie just hit the button. And he will arise again Plot twist
It seems obvious now from Loki season 2 that the mcu and alternate universes take place in blackhole(s)

...Kang’s Plan for Loki & Sylvie Revealed!...
Watch the next 14 videos were we dig down deeper.
What if, Since the TVA operates outside of time, the end of season 1 happens before Loki is even born. Which is why they don't know who he is. It would technically make everyone at the TVA older than Loki. Or, maybe they're aging is frozen because they have been pulled out time making them ageless.
There is not a 'before' if the TVA operates outside of time. They could jump to any point in the timeline which they do.
@enoyna1001 True. Hmm...
Quick thought after watchign the video and the thing about "who's in charge" like Rensleyer said. What if herelf is a kang variant (like loki has female variants), and is actually the one who's fully in charge?
