- I finally got fed up with my old belt sander, so I bought this new one with a 1" x 30" belt, which also has a disc sander attached. It required some assembly, which was pretty simple and I show every step in this video.
The sanding table stayed at 90 degrees the whole time I was using it, and gave me nice perpendicular surfaces.

Excellent ! Thank you. I was stuck in one place and now know how to do the assembly. Much appreciated.
You're welcome!
Great video. Just purchased one to replace an older belt disk sander that is totally worn out.
Thanks! I got this one to replace my Harbor Freight one.
Best video I found !!! Thank you
Looks like a good one!!!
Yeah, I like it a lot so far. I am looking forward to using the disc sander part for some light metalworking.
I have an almost identical machine and I really like it.
It is pretty great. I can't believe I used the bad one for so long before getting this.
How do you change the belt and what's the easiest way to change the disc?
Its the vidéo I search thanks lot
You're welcome!
Would you say this could be good for steel work if I get the right grit belt? Not so much cutting steel but for sharpening saws and other stuff like that.
I would say yes. I have used my 1x30 belt sander for axes and homemade gouges in the past.
@@BobsWoodStuff thank you! I'm gonna probably go for a pack of 1x30 just for the sake of variety in grits.
LOL LOL I fuked up too
great vid
Yeah, you never want to assemble something and then find pieces left over.
HOW DO WE MOUNT IT?
I just use it unattached, but there are some holes in the base where you could use some lag screws with washers to bolt it down.
