As u prob know theyve made a lot of other changes to the game, fixed bugs, and qol improvements that senpai has worked so hard on, char balannccing is just one part of it. I mean its not perfect but the game is still 100x better than d2r

Yeah I personally am fine with these changes. After 8 previous seasons of balance changes they're still finding ways to improve the game and it's amazing. the NHAM bug fix is awesome and feels REALLY GOOD for Paladins especially.

@@Driven2Chonk hahah sorry, this was meant to reply to dude's, I'm sure you're aware how much they've improved the game with this mod since it's inception!!

You're right. That's why I'm going to donate $30 and play s9 all the same. I just wish they had more resources to accomplish the vision they have. Imagine if Blizzard woke up from whatever fever dream happens when you chug a bunch of employee breast milk and decided to basically create PD2 for D2R and keep the season mechanic going indefinitely as the official path of the game.

appreciate the overview, but if you're going to do something like this, turn the game off. or do a second take. The audio shotgun of D2s loading hits just as hard through youtube as it does in first person.
That blade fury buff though....is absolutely insane.

These changes are a little disappointing... They're so subtle. What's the point of these balance changes, like it's a PvP game? Don't get me wrong, I'll make sure to donate $30 every season as long as they do it. I appreciate the inferno retooling, bug fixes for melee, and the poison dagger rework might be fun, sounds like Jabazon would be a viable DClone or Ubers killer... but it doesn't change that much about the game. I know DotA 2 has wildly different scale of resources but they have a good philosophy for reworking skills to keep the game fresh. Make one of the hydras shoot infernos, adjust the synergies so most builds have 2 core skills, add a potion skill that actually scales the pot damage for a throw barb, make a setting that automatically casts the skill on your mouse pointer when you press the hot key, or idk make the resource acquisition of mapping comparable to grinding ubers. This seems like it's gonna feel a lot like season 8.

There are plenty of mods that already do that. Project Diablo 2 philosophy is continue the legacy from vanilla, not create a whole new game. I'm sure senpai has a lot of ideas of skills and new mechanics but if it will turn the mod into something far from what Diablo 2 LoD is known, he will not make it.
Dungeons and new ubers are really nice additions for replayability plus mapping system. It does feel like this patch is small, but you aren´t taking into account nhd fix, nham fix, new dungeon gameplay, and a lot of pvp patches.
