Here's my opinion correct me if i'm wrong. Mods like this are more for supporting mods for remap/tune. Yes there's not much difference before tune, but with this mod, ur car's tuning result would be better. Same mods with performance spark plugs and exhaust systems. A little bit adds up for better results after tuning. One of the reason u feel xde beza is because ur ecu relearn back the airflow already and another case is placebo effect. Overall this is a functional supporting mod for ecu tune/remap
I think it’s the later, probably just a placebo effect. I think need to have piggybacj & retune to actually feel the difference. Now the ecu probably dont know they can suck more air.
Hi im using works drop in filter & dont know which is better. But due to the same design, i can say the performance is relatively the same. You can refer to mg3hub channel for k&n air filter which gets additional 3hp.
