Can anybody tell what is the meaning of the phrase(Salatul qayam ya sabaqumullah) the muaddhin says before salah? Jazakallahu khair
Salatul qiyami asaabakumullah
صلاة القيام اثابكم الله
It means: Night prayer, may Allah reward you
Just telling the people that the taraweeh prayers are about to start, as opposed to imam suddenly saying the takbir.
Surah at-Takwir (The overthrowing)*
⌛When the Hour is established, the systems of the Earth and the Heavens will be in disarray;
🙅🏻♀️Pre-Islamic custom of female infanticide; doesn’t exist today, but similar forms of women oppression do - not given education, inheritance, rights. Custom of dowry and other oppressive rituals.
❓Allah asks us where we are going? Behind the pleasures of this temporary world? Distracted by its sparkle but forgetting the blaze of the Hereafter?

*Surah ‘Abasa (He Frowned)*
👥Rasul (s) was preaching to the leaders of Quraish when a blind Sahaba, Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum (r) approached his gathering, wanting to ask a question. But Rasul (s) was focused on the leaders because they were hard to get hold of, and them accepting Islam would have been very beneficial for the Muslims. When Ibn Umm Maktum interrupted him, Rasul (s) frowned and turned away. Immediately, this surah was revealed.
❎Allah reprimands Rasul (s) for his behavior; the leaders were least interested, but he (s) was giving them his attention rather than the one who was genuine in his intentions.
📖Quran is recorded in the Lauh al-Mahfuz, carried by angels; this is its high status.
✅Man is yet to properly accomplish what he was sent for; the distractions of this world come in the way of our divine purpose.
👪Relationships will be fraught on the Day of Judgement, so try to save yourself as well as your family in this world itself
*Surah al-Ghaashiyah (The Overwhelming Event)*
❌Reality of the Day of Judgment. No helper or protector.
📜Rasul (s) was only a messenger sent to warn, he wont be asked if we accepted the message or not

*Surah al-Infitar(The bursting apart)*
❓Allah addresses all of mankind that what has deceived them from worshipping him. Rather, they are deviated by the worship of their own desires and delusions.
📖Rasul (s) used to recite the last Ayah to his family and would warn them to take care of their record of deeds as he himself wouldn’t be of any help on the Day of Judgement.
*Surah al-Mutaffifeen (Those who give less than due)*
⚖️Allah curses the one who cheats and lies and gives less than due in their businesses. It also applies to other areas of life, like not giving the prayer its due by performing it in a hasty way.
💰We love to compete for worldly things, but why not race each other for the rewards of the Hereafter.
🌟The disbelievers used to make fun of the believers in this world; in the Hereafter the believers will smile and laugh at the disbelievers.

*Surah al-Inshiqaaq (The splitting open)*
💯Everyone is working towards something, so let those efforts be for a good cause that will secure the pleasure of Allah and bring success in the Hereafter.
The ones given their records in the right hand will be judged with an easy account. However, this isn’t enough to guarantee Jannah because if Allah chooses to ask about any particular action, why did or didn’t we do it, then our account will become difficult. It is only by the mercy of Allah that we will be able to enter Jannah, not by our deeds, no matter how good they can be.
*Surah al-Fajr (The Dawn)*
🕋The 10 nights referred to in this Surah are the first ten nights of Dhul Hijjah; deeds performed in these days are multiplied.
👑Mention of superpowers of their time - Firawn, ‘Aad and Thamud. Responsibility on the leaders or influential people to use their favors to remind themselves as well as others about Allah.
🫴🏻Mention of the one who thanks Allah during times of blessings, but as soon as they go away, he turns bitter and thinks Allah has humiliated him. But Allah asks him about the humiliation of the orphans by not feeding them, giving their inheritance, and turning away from the poor.
❣️Don’t delay the doing of good. On that day, every little deed will count.
💖Nafs al-Mutmainnah - the Reassured Soul. Will be content at the time of death. Angels will coax it out gently and will wrap it in a shroud from Heaven, which will be perfumed better than any perfume on Earth. They will take it to Allah and, on the way, will proudly show it to the other Angels. Allah will mark this soul for Illiyeen and command it to be sent back in time for Munkar and Nakeer to start their questioning.
*Surah at-Tariq (The Star of Piercing brightness )*
🔊On the Day of Resurrection, all secrets will be laid bare. No action or even the intention for that action will be hidden from Allah.
📖This Quran is not for amusement; reading it part time, picking and choosing its commands, doing strange rituals with it. Rather, it is a book with a firm message that needs to be followed closely.
*Surah al-A’laa (The Most High)*
☝🏻Allah will create ease for you if you take the first step. Don’t unnecessarily burden yourself with things that don’t benefit you. Cut out the distractions, and you will see that following the commands gets easier and easier.
🛐The one who prefers the life of this world will not find it easy to pray or remember Allah.
