Glad they made these changes, having strike aircraft with limited capability at the same BR as fighters in air makes no sense. Higher br for ground where they shine
(Also you need to make a video on the ZA-35 it’s menace.)
At the same time though, it does make stuff like the A-10 be weirdly toxic in Air RB with it's insanely good missiles and nothing else going for it, vs stuff that can't possibly flare the missiles.
i like that its going to 9.7 a br where us has no ground vehicles
10.0 is a nice lineup tho (if you have some event vehicles that is)

Still keep asking for an option to have a Ground only mode. but we all know that will never happen. Took this and the XM803 out for a spin and it went better than expected and just another reminder how dumb CAS is in ground RB. even worse when you're in 7.7 and no real way to counter CAS either. said before and say it again. 7.3-9.0 needs a bigger spread mainly saying this as want to play WW2 vs WW2 and not 1960s and beyond that. but for the game as a whole it needs some fixing.
Sadly. This is Gaijin and that's not gonna happen which sucks as the idea of this game is one of my favs same with WoT. but with them changing things just to change makes it so annoying to deal with it no longer becomes fun.
When I play it I get destroyed by anti air as soon as I spawn… its for sure youtuber and streamer rigged😂
America will have no CAS aircraft with CCIP or any type of accurate ordinance until 9.7 once these changes come in.

Its especially fucked considering the USA literally pioneered laser guided/beamriding, SACLOS and MCLOS munitions (not to mention thermal and night vision optics) and yet the tree regularly gets the WORST iterations of all the tech that we literally invented…. Cough * M1A1 gen 1 thermals * cough
I like to play the A4E in Air RB and this change will make it completely obsolete in Air RB

There is a variant of the YP-408 APC that could come to the (rumored) Benelux sub tree down the road, it was an AT variant made in 1983 that had a TOW missile launcher which replaced the single .50 cal. machine gun the YP-408 normally had.

I mean for air battles that isn’t great for the plane… but hey gaijin doesn’t know how to split the difference
On console any Manuel guided munitions are worthless. I’ve played Keyboard and mouse and the is game becomes a walk in the park with any vehicle

Just got this plane. I am console player and was wondering how do the missiles work? Are you guiding them yourself and hitting / seeing pea sized targets 🤔
You have to guide them yourself, I really am not sure how you would do it on controller either :P
Exception, like to see how many matches it took for one like that, any time I spawn in any aircraft im immidiately shot down so matters not a jot how overpowered a minority of players think a vehicle is!
Also as an exceptional player, good enough to make content on you tubnbe youre probably at least in the top 10% of players, hardly making it a fair and honest comparison.
I dont mean this to come across big headed, but once you get this plane mastered, this is most games. The games in the Intro, were the only games I played on stream with it. I will say, this definitely takes a long time to master, and I haven't played it since it went to 9.3, so perhaps I will revisit it soon and perhaps reform my opinion :)

FJ-4B VMF-232 still 8.7 with 5 Bullpups on a better platform then the A-4E. Another Win for market place vehicals.
A4E is good but have you tried the israeli Ayit? Its stupid... it is 9.3 and it has mavericks and gbu bombs...and good engine. On 9.3 is broken and I still use him on 11.0 games and its still good.
4:20 !!!! I thought this was just me because I play on a Mac. You can't touch your WASD when this happens or you end up spun around facing away from the enemy. And when it happens in planes you wake up in a chimney or a tree. Ugh!
What do you recommend for grinding air trees? I have tried Air AB and Air RB, but they get boring way too fast compared to ground. Any other recomendations or do i just have to embrace the suck?
Honestly, the only way to stomach air for me is with premiums, but you will have to play Air RB lol

9.7 will be too much for this plane, 9.0 is fine and deserves it. On the other hand, you must be at 15.0 OP guy

its a squadron plane, make it less rewarding to play with it instead of moving it up BR.

I personally like the Simitar more. It carries 4 bullpups. It doesn't have RWR or flares, but it picks up speed way faster. Easy to rtb and come back in a short amount of time. I've rtb 3-4 times before in a single match, and I even racked up enough points for a nuke by just playing CAS.
Its not that easy to use. Many people can't use it. I think those planes are good think how going to die in game like everything fun on it.
what keybinds do you use for the bullpups?

But it's not going up to 9.7 in ARB, they are bringing in the separate brs for ground and air

9.7 with no lineup is insane, the highest this thing should go is 9.0 9.3
Op CAS is the death of this TANK game, it could be fairer if Gaijin gave us better AA, but they won't as they don't care about fair in any sense of the word, a BR increase would most likely help in this case. But there are plenty of other Op CAS plane and helicopters in the game to keep unfair being the keyword. Can't win with a tank, now don't dispare, just get your kills with Op air. Still well flown Sir Turny.
I like the walleyes, zunis, and 3 1000 pounders. On a really good run I can get 7 kills. Best I ever got was 8
I'm getting mixed feelings about this thing being moved up in BR. On the one hand, it is indeed very powerful, but on the other hand 9.7 seems like a very harsh nerf. Let's hope whatever it is getting to justify this nerf will be worth it.
(Also, it will destroy my nice squadron vehicle lineup with the M901 WALL-E and this thing that I have)

If the a4e is going up then they need to be given aim 9g minimum

also if it was to go up to 8.7 in air, giving it the aim9G would be going too far, considering any other US jet doesn't get it till 9.7, which would make it blatantly OP to go against

You need skill for CAS?
Getting used to the bullpups takes a bit of practice. I recommend carrying the Walleyes because you can easily destroy SPAA at the start so you can get closer to a more comfortable range for the Bullpups.
There is also some who use the TV camera from the Walleye to guide bullpups. The UA-camr “Hunter” has many excellent videos where he shows this.
