Started out with 6. All birds knew how to trap and were flying around. 4th time the birds were out they were flying together. They went over the house and I lost sight of them. Shortly later 2 swung back around and 4 were no where to be seen. A little later a blue bar joined the 2 that were still around. At this point I had 3/6 birds. The next morning another blue bar returned. So now 4/6. Red checker and splash have since been missing. At this point the 4 remaining birds were doing well. Flying and coming back etc. a couple weeks back I noticed one of the blue bars was vomiting. I held him back, but he showed energy and the will to fly. He was also eating etc, however the droppings were very loose and runny. In the evening I figured I’d let them all out including the sick one as it was showing energy all day. It went out flew a little and then landed on the roof. The other 3 birds trapped but that blue bar refused and sat on the roof the whole night. The next morning I went to check on it and it was no where to be seen. At this point I was down to 3/6. A week later I let the 3 remaining birds out. The black and grizzle returned but the remaining blue bar was never seen again. So it’s still a mystery to exactly what happened to the other 4. I can only suspect BOP.
@NE_Pigeons Do you live anywhere near farmingdale ny? I caught my neighbor poisoning pigeons for weeks. I usually have a bunch I feed a few times a day and he hates them and started poisoning them.
