Australian opposition leader calls for visa ban for Gazans seeking safety in Australia

Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has been accused of racism and sowing division after he called for the government to stop allowing Palestinians fleeing Gaza to come to Australia. Peter Dutton maintains allowing in arrivals from the war zone is a major security concern.
Since the Hamas terror attack on Israel on October 7 last year, more than 7,000 visa applications have been refused by the Australian government.
