The clip comes off, you have to squeeze it together x i think the furblet is adoreable, the way the ears close over the eyes reminds me of the baby mogwai in gremlins

Hey, mine won't open up after doing what you had done and what the instructions said, it also has batteries in it. Do you think you'd know what the problem is
My son got one and his won't open at all either. I think the quality control is bad and they just don't care enough
