  • We went on a road trip and drove to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to check out the scene, stopped by de Fer Coffee & Tea for some coffee, visited The Andy Warhol Museum, and dined at APTEKA (a phenomenal restaurant!).
After a night in Pittsburgh we woke up and made our way to see two houses designed by American architect Frank Lloyd Wright.
One of them was Kentuck Knob, and unexpected sensation for us. It feels like that house is a bit under the radar and a bit hard to comprehend how beautiful it actually is from pictures, so it's certainly worth a visit to see what it's all about. From the museum-level furniture to the layout to the dream mid-century kitchen, so inspiring to see!
The other house we visited was the famous Fallingwater. Great design and a wonderful example of organic architecture! And the waterfall that doesn't stop, wow, just to think about conceiving an idea to build part of a home above an existing waterfall, amazing, applause for Mr. Wright! And then having it done the way it was done, incredible. Worth visiting for sure if you've never been.
Thank you Frank for the amazing architecture you've left the world with!
And thank you for watching our short film showing some appreciation! :)

These are on the list for next year. Stunning! We've visited Taliesin in WI and the Dana-Thomas house in Springfield, IL. They are very different in style, but amazing in their own ways. Highly recommend!
