- I've always talked about how great the pen community is and the shear generosity of its members. I have been gone a while and have had a few kind words and messages sent to me wishing me well which were very gratefully received.
About two months ago I went to the first of the South Wales Pen Meets and whilst there one of the members generously loaned me this pen to try and review.

A question: I read somewhere that Sailor has began using plastic rings painted to look like metal. Have you heard anything like that?

Lennart Wennberg thank you and that is a very generous offer. I have read something about it on FPN. I'm afraid I haven't got a definitive answer, the rings on here could be coated plastic by feel but I wouldn't have noticed had you not said anything

Nice to have you back making video's again. Nice pen the only thing i don't like about sailors is their convertors which i think are terrible.

Very nice pen indeed. The Pro Gear really appeals to me but the slim version is too small for my hand. This one though looks perfect. Enjoyed your review.
Atelier Novotny I agree with you about the slim
After looking at your pen, I realize I must have a Sailor pro gear slim ultra ef. It writes thinner than yours. I wanted an ef but Mines OK I suppose.
Based on the cap band and size, I suspect that is actually the Pro Gear KOP that you have there.
Good to see you again! Have two questions for you if you don't mind. First, do the sailors write more fine than western nibs? Also, Im using Fine nibs now but how do I know if I should go to EF or not? Love your show and love you!!

You Don't Even Need A Pen... Just Trim Your Nails From The Two Sides, Saw Them From The Middle, Punch A Hole In The Middle Drip In In The Ink And Write With It. Just Like That ... But The Problem Is You Can't Use A Cartridge Converter ... But It Will Surely Give You A Ancient Feeling When The Barrel Was Not Discovered ...
