    CVT gearbox is the all round winner from the perspective of practicality and daily city use. It is also good enough for occasional long drives.

      There is no BEST system in comparison to all types!
      they are meant for different applications!
      Cheapest is the manual, then the AMT, followed closely by the iMT!
      Choose AMT for cheap vehicles only. iMT only when you don’t want an automatic but don’t like the clutch either.
      CVT has no shift, so normally you don’t get any jerks at all! Use when you require relax driving, be aware of the Rubber Bands effect of the transmission. Modern cvt’s have reduced this effect though!
      TC these days are very good and the most reliable automatic transmission system! They give the best performance especially with high torque outputs!
      DCT are the best and quickest transmission systems there could be. Costly, but have great performance!
      If you are investing on a car with DCT gearbox, keep 50-60k aside for emergency in case the gearbox goes bad! The main issue is that many of these systems are not adapted for the heat of our country, otherwise they are good.

      The DualJet places two injectors very close to the engine inlet valves. This arrangement allows for finer atomisation of fuel, resulting in more complete combustion as well as the cooler running of the engine . While VVT is called variable valve timing , it allows to control the inlet valve to open according to rpm of engine .

      Wrong. AMT is the simplest and slowest. Torque Converter is most reliable and smooth.

    Wrong and old information
    CVT transmission more reliable and low cost maintenance.
    I believe you need to drive all the latest cars first before confusing others

    Please get some knowledge wrt to what you’re talking about. The smoothest shift is always a DCT transmission. There are too many examples of tc gearboxes which give a jerk on changing gears. Google it, you’ll find out.
    The first cvt transmission was built in 1958. It is most certainly not the “latest” transmission system invented! That has to go to the iMT which was first introduced in 2016 by Toyota!
