mine did the exact same thing, i took off the bootlid panel undid the screws and regreased the motor wiper and its been working for years

You have to take the bootlid panel off an remove the wiper motor for it to come out.

No you dont.. you have to pull the wiper of, the motor is the last step and will only stick its metal rod out which spins the wiper

Ive taken the wiper arm off mine and left the motor, now when i gap some formula one grade corsa driver i have a cannon to shoot the screenwash back onto them. XD
