The dress looks amazing!!! Since it's a neutral color you can easily pair it with fun accessories. I'm thinking black pumps and a geometric clutch, or sparkly camisole, or red pumps. So many possibilities!

Your dress looks great and the fit. I was also going to suggest Mccalls 7997. I haven’t made it yet but it is another blazer dress and is a nice pattern and has reviews on pattern review.

Maybe you can add buttons on the other side to make it look double-breasted. Love the pattern…I’ve got a print that would look great🥰

M6279 this pattern has a short collar but it does have a lapel. I believe that it is out of print but I bought it on either Etsy or eBay.
