Thank You King 👑 Craven for the Education !! I will twist some of these “ K - Sculpins “ up and hit the Boardman, Platte, & Manistee with Them this Spring ….. ✨🎣💫
Awesome fly, Thanks Charlie! I’m surprised that more fly tires don’t use a fly tester to show what there creation looks like in the water. Is this something you’d be interested in doing once in a while, I think it would absolutely add to the segment! Thanks again!
Wait - are you wrapping your thread differently now? Over and away from you - vs over and toward you? Nice fly (as always). Just curious if you changed - and if so what was the motivation?
Can you please do a fly tying video on the black mamba fly.. absolutely deadly please tie it in the next video and the creator Is on youtube UK fly fisher but please tie the fly and it caught me my first brownie
I'm jealous how easily you spin fur 😂
Thank you so much, Charlie. You are a wonderful teacher and that is a great looking Sculpin pattern.
Best Fly tying channel. Informative but not dry and boring
Thanks Charlie! The local smallmouth bass are going to love this one!

Mallard flank is under-utilized imo. I love adding it to just about every streamer I tie
I just realized how awesome mallard is on streamers... I think some orange and red would be good for Imitating gills, cutthroat, perch...
Pheasant Rump is also a great streamer feather. Cheap too!

I’ve always wrapped over and away…though I know that sometimes the videos make it look the other way.
@@CharliesFlyBox Oh huh. Ok thanks. I must have a wire crossed somewhere - not shocking at all. Great fly - so much movement.
Does anyone know what type of hackle pliers those are?
You’re not going to like my comment but I liked your other setup much better because it really put the fly in focus with no background distraction.
I agree.
