Excellent video and demonstration, super complete, it is nice when they do the plucking or fingertips but it was great that you played the chords to see how they sound, many only show their own virtuosity but you showed us the great potential of the guitar, thank you very much for this extraordinary demonstration. 👏🏼💪🏼🍻🤜🏼🤛🏼
I bought this for my son in 2020 during COVID. He lost interest after a few weeks and now i play it everyday. fun and easy to play would be an understatement. I love this thing.
I have one of these coming along the way because I found an AD from Fender that they would send me a free guitar if I bought a one year subscription with them, Total of 149.99 plus tax! I'm excited!
Nice review, and well played (specially considering the high action it had), and that little Windy and Warm was great. I believe it include a truss rod, so it should be posible to adjust the action without messing with the brigde directly.
Ive been listening to alot of your videos and this guitar on camera seems to attract me the most. Is it really that good for a budget guitar? I might be able to look at one in march.
That was a few years back and I don't live there anymore. I'm not so sure what's available these days. But I remember it was a good beater f sure Willy 🍺
You are awesome 🥺. I was just looking if the guitar was worthy and I don't thinks this video helps me cause what I see is someone so skilled that could make the worst guitar sound beautiful 💓
Fender FA-15N is made of Sapele, including top, body, and back. Sapele is supposed to be the closest to Mahogony. The resonation shown in your video is great. I just ordered one. I also have a Yamaha C40 which has Spruce top and Meranti body and back. My research shows that Sapele is much closer to Mahogany than Meranti. As a beginner, I found the sound of Yamaha C40 is really good enough for me. However It’s full size and I have difficulty stretching my fingers across five frets in some songs. That is why I want to get a 3/4 size. This time I want to try out something different and I can’t wait to find out how Fender FA-15N sounds in my hand.
Got mine today. Not exactly the same one as the one in the video. The rosette pattern is different and the color of the body and the back is darker. Probably a newer version. It comes with a built-in truss rod that you can use to adjust the action height while Yamaha C40 does not. Overall it is good and easier for me to play because of smaller size. The sound has a different taste than Yamaha C40. Probably full size guitar has better resonation than 3/4 size. Overall I still kind of like Yamaha C40 better.
They are equally good. I’d have to say Fender FA-15N has a brighter or more vibrant sound while Yamaha has a softer or more calm sound. If you relate the sound of Yamaha C40 to flowing water, you can relate that of Fender FA-15N to colorful sunshine.
Not Alexa. I will put one up soon. It's an original of mine called Flowers do Cry.. ha crazy name but it suits. I have a small recording I did with an interface on my original music playlists if you're keen 🤙👊
Hey- nice review and great playing. Fender website says it is a 11.8 radius fretboard. Do you know if it is flat like most classical guitars? Thanks for answering, if you see this.
Cheers for watching Donovan 👍 Sure man. I will break it down soon for you. Its an old classical piece I learnt light years ago. It's lovely to play. Will share it with y'all soon 🍺🙏
You make it sound great! Shame about the action. I have the FA-25N on order with a transducer pickup for a cheap acoustic electric classical solution. But, I'm tempted to cancel the order
I was looking at a 3/4 steel string fender and this came up. Classical is so much more nostalgic for me. It's how I learned. Never liked the tension or sound of steel
Hi! Did you eventually get it set properly? Was it hard do adjust? I'm asking this because it's such an inexpensive instrument and I've come to find some guitars at thia price range are kind of Frankensteins and sometimes the bridge does not belong to the specifics of the body or the neck trussrod won't help to set the action properly either :'(

Excellent quick overview & demo. Getting one. 🎸
Subbed. 👌
I appreciate it 🤙
Great playing!
Your playing is great. I'd like a beater like this. Something to bring everywhere and play everything on.
You dug some nice tones out of that little box. Subbed
Lovely chord progression starting at 1:34; what is the name of that song?
Cheers chinster 👍 That's my tune called Flowers Do Cry 👍 available on my links 🙏

How would it compare with a Yamaha C40
sembra l'attuale FA-25N! The guitar looks like the current FA-25N! congrats and thank you for the review 👏👏👏
What’s the piece you play at 3:28?
🤙 Windy and Warm. A classic piece 🍻
Toys= Batteries not included, this guitar= Jeff's not included :(
Cheers Laura 😸👍👍♥️

@@雪中木 what do you think the base response in fender fa15?
I have heard these have no truss rod.???
The top does not look like sapele to me, I've had two student size guitars with sapele tops, both were darker than this one.
Is there a tutorial for the song you played at 2:58 I want to learn it it sounds nice
Not yet kevin. But stay tuned for one 👍 ua-cam.com/video/jQbH5WwjWI0/v-deo.html

Hello jeff please can you do a little bit review on the fender FA 235??
Which chord did you play on 1:38 🤔👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 !
That's an e 9 abdul. Lovely sound
Sounds beautiful the way you play it. Thinking of ordering it for a grandchild and hope for the best.
Is there a strap button on the body?
No strap buttons 👹 you could put some in 💥
Is 3/4 or 1/4
Ah cheers Matias 3\4 it is 🤙

This being a fender guitar will have the correct bridge type/string type. You will probably need to trim the bridge to get a lower action.
Dev has spoken gabo 😸 He's right 👍👍
Hi Jeff great video but I can't seem.to find this guitar online. Any help? Cheers
Hey man 🤙 Cheers for viewing. Me neither dude! I'm not sure why that is! Sorry man 🧙♂️
I think they replaced this series with a new series (try CN60 or ESC)
It sounds like it has still strings
Are you related to actor Michael Caine? There is a likeness to his young self. Lol
