In a time, where digital "film" is killing analog cinema, I like to see, that some people still interested in the real FILM…
I am one of them and I thank god, there are a lot more of them.
FILM is the real CINEMA... no digital can beat it!!!
    Thanks for this video!

I just learned to load this camera yesterday! It was way easier than loading an Arriflex S16.

complete darkness. sorry if it is confusing. practice it in the light with a dummy load (like I am doing). When you get the hang of it, try it with the dummy load in the changing bag or a dark room.

So interesting! Very similar to some of the same things I'm learning to do in my still photography schooling. Love how similar still and motion photography are! :)

Do we load the spool into the magazine in complete dark?Or we use red safe light? If we load it in complete dark how can be possible to threat the film into the magazine,... it seems so difficult as seen in this video.

quisieras saber como se llama todos los lentes.. juntos.. y averiguar si se puede comprar solo los lentes juntos ... o mejor con la montura.. sin celuloide ni la camara solo los lentes

Anyone know how to change shutter speed on this camera or the Arri S?

Celluloid film is light sensitive, so if exposed to light it will ruin the film. In the camera the film is protected from light except when it is purposefully exposed to light in order to render the image. It is necessary to use the light tight changing bag when loading and unloading the camera

btw, this looks like 16mm film. Or are my eyes deceiving me? lol

you cannot reuse exposed film unless you are talking about double exposure methods. It this is sarcasm then, yes, I do understand the price difference between a roll of 16mm ($130) and a DV tape ($6) which you can reuse if you are desperate.

acho muito trabalhoso, o melhor é usar uma camera RED one 4K digital. i´m think it´s very difficult, won´t be better use a digital camera 4k?
