This game was really fucking good, played every SC so far and it's good to see that the quality remains throughout the series.
I definitely agree. While I miss the old school, more hardcore stealth of, say, Chaos Theory (which in my opinion remains the best) Blacklist was also pretty great.
They should take away executions in Hardcore/Realistic mode to make it more like the Chaos Theory days
I prefer the first three (especially Chaos Theory)
@@tricepsish on perfectionist difficulty it takes away mark and execute and you only need to take people out in specific moments you can actually ghost the majority of the game. In fact most missions you don’t need to knock people out at all. If you play on the hardest difficulty and leave hostiles undisturbed I would say this is the second best splinter cell after chaos theory.
If they could merge the gameplay from Blacklist and Chaos Theory together, we'd have the perfect modern Splinter Cell game.

You can put this game on the highest difficulty to get rid of mark and execute and you only have to knock people out in certain very brief scripted moments that aren’t all that common. If you choose to ghost this game on the hardest difficulty it’s probably my second favorite gameplay wise after chaos theory.
I think an "Intense moment" in splinter cell blacklist is when you're surrounded by enemies that know your position and are closing in on you but you just escape in the last moment without anybody seeing you.

+Mr.Nice Guy it is. realistic is much more difficult and less ammo. i prefer to play on realistic with an armor piercing silenced SC sniper rifle, because it goes through helmets (most of the time). also crouch sprint with the stealthiest armor. always panther. i basically have the most op setup possible XD
Definately not Perfectionist. When you alert those big guys on Perfectionist, there's no melee option whatsoever.

yeah its too much of an action shooter instead of stealth. i dont really like this direction for a SC game but overall its not a bad game.

if you want challenge try no kill only knockdown and tazers. maybe that will bring back the stealth
