Anthony Im confused about the success formula in a past video u divided the skill * hardwork*duration/ luck and make a clarification that it was supposed to be divided by unluck or multiplied by luck. Now you divided the formula again by luck? and added multiplied by the total # of interactions?

@AnthonyVicino Right on! I came across your content a few weeks ago and have learned a ton. Particularly, when you get into mental models. I'm 53 and starting over; statistically, I'm supposed to be done, but I refuse to tap out. I'm an outlier. I figure if I take care of myself, work hard and smart, I can achieve at least a high 7 figure/low 8 figure net worth over the next 10 years. I appreciate what you do.:)

When I lived as a Buddhist Monk we’d more or less lock ourselves into meditation centers for 3 months at a time. The inertia you get practising in an environment that is streamlined for one thing only is difficult to imagine, especially when done up to 16h/day.
PROJECT KICKOFF was such a great segment in this video. I see now how meditation centers have been using your friends system for thousands of years ;)
    1. (Winning looks like) Making it through the 3 months
    2. (Goals) Adhere to the centers schedule, bonus extra hours in room
    3. (Roadmap) Having senior monks guide you was useful in the beginning since I ran into quite a few hurdles when I started.
    4. (Starting) Once you joined a retreat they would come and get you in your room so momentum is guaranteed unless you “broke out” of the center :)
Love the content coming from you and happy you are sharing so freely with your experience.
Thank you, and keep em coming!

    money making formula :
    volume x leverage = money
volume = how long does you do the thing and how many times you do the thing (
the faster we can do a thing the more time we can do it )
    variables :
    speed + duration + iteration
succsss = skill x hard work x duration : luck and multiply them all by the total x of number iteration
    duration could be speed
naval ravikant quote : its not about 1000 hours, its about 1000 of iteration
implementation : increasing the speed while we itrerate to cycle through the success formula more times
    PART 2 :
Knowledge is not power if dont apply
knowledge when apply but doesnt acheiving goals = learn
    - learning is what occurs when it apply theoritical knowledge into the real world
important things : whoever learns fastests = win
considering of learning of what works and what doesnt
    PART 3 :
    Time removes motivation
as the times progesses as it get further of further from the moment of having great ideas, inspiration begin to reduce
when set a goal = release dopamine and giving a cheap dopamine
cheap dopamine = getting the reward before doing the hard work makes it hard to do the work
    2 things :
    1. dicipline > motivation
    2. transform motivation into momentum
    PART 4 :
When it comes to making money there are 2 things
    1. increase speed of decision making
    2. increase speed of execution
speed of decision making = the first step of start moving to goals is not pysicall but its mental ( fully commit to one path to success )
speed of execution = results from focus and clarity vision of goals ( where you are going ) and have enough plan to get there, the advice is do more => get good at it and focusing on doing less acheive more
    PART 5 :
    PROJECT KICK OFF :
    1. define what winning looks like ( good outccome )
    2. set clear measurable goals and anti goals ( ambitious goal [ measurable, timeline ]
    3. create a back of the envelope roadmap ( big to small milestones )
    4. sit down for 1 hour for the plan and get momentum

Such a brilliant Video! I learnt so much as to why I have continuously lost motivation and hardly got anything done. Its lack of speed in execution. Trying to get everything perfectly lined up before taking the first shot...
Thank you so much Anthony. Such an incredible gift you have given! I loved the concept of Kinetic Energy being proportional to the square of the velocity and hence the extreme importance of speed.
I was reminded (from high school physics) that static friction is higher than kinetic friction ie when a body is at rest the frictional force that opposes its movement is higher that when it is moving AND the faster it moves the lower the opposing frictional force.
Do you think that it is also true in real life ie when moving forward the opposition/problems are easier to overcome than when static?

    • @AnthonyVicino
      @AnthonyVicino  Рік тому

100% The faster you move, the easier things become. It's true in physics AND in business/money/life.

Hey Anthony Vicino I am 17 years old in my senior year of high school and I'm going to college next year in August.
I will be 18 in March.
I'm going to college because I am going to study biology so then I could go to medical school to become a doctor.
Over this past year I have woken up and chosen to win the money game.
I have developed this desire to achieve financial freedom and become a multimillionaire so I could retire my mom and dad and provide for my own family that I will have in the future.
I want to give my family the life of freedom and choice and not be a slave to my job.
This is why I initially wanted to become a doctor for the financial freedom they have. But as I learned more about money and how to become wealthy and rich, I see many people becoming wealthy and rich at a young age about 19-28.
I feel like I now am confused if becoming a doctor is the right path towards financial freedom and wining the money game.
Especially now that I have learned that to become rich you can't work for money but you actually have to make money work for you.
In the book "RICH DAD POOR DAD" it talks about how becoming a doctor probably wont solve my financial problems and will actually keep me in the rat race.
I know that my parents will greatly disapprove about me not going to college and not acting on my decision to become a doctor.
The thing is I don't want to use up valuable time if it means I wont get to my desired goal.
My parents are like everybody's middleclass parents who want the best for their kids.
Telling me to get a good job that pays me a lot of money so I will be set for life but they don't know about the rat race and how society is being trapped.
On the other hand It would also be unwise and impulsive to just leave my plan that I had planned out, just to act on this gut feeling of mine along with the information I have learned of books and the internet to become rich by not going to college.
I also feel like if I quit on my plan I will be letting my parents down and they wont see me the same. It could ruin the relationship I have with them.
What I have planned instead to make the best out of my situation is to go to college as I planned but to on top of that start a business with any free time that I have outside of School.
It will be hard because being in college especially a biology major will take a lot of my time and it will cause me to go into dept.
I will also have to sacrifice a lot of my time to my business or my wealth building endeavors.
If my business takes of by the time my 4 years in college are up I will have something to show my parents to make my case for continuing entrepreneurship.
If not I will then go to medical school for 4 years to continue my journey of becoming a doctor while still trying to scale my business.
Then again if my business takes off after those four years of medical school I can have something to plead my case to my parents, if not I will go into my residency.
In my residency I will spend 3 years training to become a doctor while I keep trying to scale my business or my wealth building endeavors.
In the midst of all this hustle I saw your video on your 5 regrets in your 20's and so I know I wont be able to go without sleep, eat cheap food to save money and not have a social life because I will probably tank my healthy.
I am confused by this though because everybody that talks about hustle and grind say you have to go with out sleep and work on 2-3 hours of sleep some days because you will be wasting time and miss your opportunity to be successful.
By keeping my relationships and health in check it will slow me down on the gains to reach my goals but it will keep me healthy so I'm torn on this dilemma.
Then After my residency which is 3 years I will have finally become a doctor, to be exact a family doctor which is what I plan to be and I will have my business which if it has taken off then I will be a doctor and continue my business until I am at a place where I have built substantial wealth and escaped the rat race.
Then I could decide how I want to live life on my terms.
Or If my business or anything I'm working at the time to make me money has not taken off I will at this point have a big income coming in from being a doctor so this will be used to invest and scale my business/and other investments to create my wealth and become rich. Since at this time I will have finished school will have more time to just work.
On being a doctor as well as building something that will make me money to become rich.
I believe after all those years of building my business I will have enough experience to take it to the next level where I will finally be wealthy and with do time will become rich.
I guess I'm glad for anyone who reads this especially if its you Anthony Vicino.
If your reading this I just want to ask you for some advice and some direction.
What do you think about everything I have said. What would you do in my position.
If you could I would love for you to be my mentor or something similar to it.
If not all good, thank you for reading this at least. If you don't read this I know what I will have to do which is trust in myself.
I really want to hold my life in my own hands and not have it be dictated by the rat race.
My mom and dad deserve for me to become successful in terms of financial freedom so I could repay them for everything they have done for me.
I Hope at least someone can give me some advice.
SORRY FOR THIS BEING ALL OVER THE PLACE.

Dude, this is awesome and I want to help you, but you've first gotta help me.
Edit your comment and go line-by-line adding paragraph breaks. This dense chunk of text is gonna give me a headache.
Once you do that, leave me another comment and I'll circle back to this, okay?

@@BrevityDiego That's getting better, brother, but we can still do better.
Here's what I want you to do:
Create a paragraph break after every single sentence.
      Like I just did.
Notice how my comment is really quick and easy to read?
It's because I leave a lot of space between my sentences and ideas.
Makes it really quick to read/skim/comprehend.
80% of good writing is actually just good formatting. :)

      Dude, this is great. Seriously.
You're in a very tricky spot (which you realize). You've listed all the variables. Your desire for your life balanced against your parents disappointment.
The fear of taking on debt and wasting time in school versus the potential of failing in business.
There is no right or wrong answer, unfortunately.
Here's a podcast that I think you should listen to (it's not me). Hopefully it'll help you work through this decision, brother.
