Please do some research the 53 skylark wheelbase was 121 1/2" and the 54 skylark wheelbase is 122 in the books but actually is still 121 1/2 so its basically the same size car or frame and the Skylark was based off of the special NOT the century and to prove my point the rear axle ratio is the same as the special plus the under the seat heater plenum is stamped 40 Series 12 Volt
