What a delightful idea, Sarah! I don't expect to be able to send in a video, but I'm looking forward to seeing some of my fellow group members and their embroidered artwork. The only embroidery I've done was as a young teen living in SoCal. Now, as a retired senior, living in SE Idaho, I'm just getting organized. I find everything takes longer than anticipated these days. If I can get organized enough to actually settle into a project, I'll be thrilled to share. Thanks for coordinating this idea. Thanks also for asking not to have music. It's quite distracting when it's something unlikeable. Until July 30th, happy embroidering!

I'm new to embroidery, but I have dabbled in counted cross stitch. A little stuffed rabbit I started 5 years ago needs to be finished for my granddaughter. I just watched your video about filling in circles and I think I can do it! The bunny will have some eyes, finally.

This is very exciting! I finally watched last year's videos which were so inspirational. I'm looking forward to this year's and may try to send one myself but am not adept at making videos. I'll be teaching an embroidery class for senior ladies July 31 for the first time. You are at the top of my list of You Tube embroiderers I'll give them. Thank you so much for your wonderful videos which are easy to watch and always learn from!

Do you think it is possible to embroider on artist framed canvas
Yes, you can embroidery on anything your needle and thread can go through. For one of the pieces I show in the video I sent in this year I stretched velvet around the painters canvas, laced my embroidery around foam core and then stitched the embroidery to the canvas by angling through the foam core and canvas. It was the easiest finishing ever!
