Actually during the WIN, YG made it clear that while the winning Team would made their debut, YG him self would Make the loosing Team to disband. So after losing, iKon members literally thought that they would never get to Debut as a group, and after YG revealed the Mix&Match, the member were SO exited to have the chance to Debut, it was just another rollercoaster when they heard that the purpose of the show was actually mix the Team with new members. Thank god they only ended up adding One and not loosing any of the original members, but that was their fear while filming it. They really did have a rough road to their Debut, and then when they Finally started to get both, domestic and international "fame" that they rightfully deserved, they Ended UP Loosing Their LEADER and basically their main producer, who had put ALL of his efforts into this team, even before their debut.. I just fealt SO mad, sad and bad at the time that I couldnt even "participate" to their Dive comeback, it just fealt too awkward knowing B.I was kicked out from the song/album he made and out of the group he led and loved. I'm still not over it. NOT even close..😕🤐
You should watch IKON TV to know them more its the same as Tmap, but IKON members are the one who film it. Kinda self produce

When new Kpop fans think that there is only one group that have a massive achievements, please show them this. I get angry when some fans undermine the achievement of other kpop group because they only know of "one successful group". I think iKON's fans are not cocky and they don't like to brag about their faves achievement that is why it's surprising for the new kpop fans to know that iKON had a lot of achievements. I'm still mad that Kmedia ruin iKON. For me, they have so much potential to go mainstream. They are the best 3rd gen group for me. ❤️

I've been an iKONIC since WIN. You can't imagine what iKON and iKONICS went through. Sometimes, I just want to curse kmedia and haters for the unnecessary and underserved mistreatment to iKON. GEEEEZ. Even pre-debut, so many articles are pointed at them negatively. It's like they're being attacked on all side, and YG didn't do much about it. Nevertheless, they are so big when debuted. However, YG made them their second money maker after Bigbang without solidifying their fanbase in SK. Imagine, a rookie group, shipped to Japan/China, and was basically gone in their homeland, SK, for two years just right after their debut. Does that even make sense? Like NADA. they never had any media appearances for two freaking years. It's not even a question why SK fans left... It's so depressing. iKON have it all. They legit is one of the groups with solid tracks. BUT for some freaking reason, whenever they get something good, it always followed by something negative. I could say iKON's career really is an extreme roller coaster ride. Their fans have the steel of nerves to have stuck with iKON until today. Fighting iKONICS.
Also FYI, I hate how new stans keep on claiming iKON is a one hit wonder just because of Love Scenario. iKON have produced top hits since debut. LS is just that song that achieved unimaginable things. It's like an outlier. People tend to forget or don't even bother to know that iKON have hits before LS. They aren't a grand slam rookies for a reason.
Out of all Kpop groups, iKON's journey is the hardest and toughest for me. The members have been through a lot of sadness, heartbreaks, triumphs and failures. I am praying that one day iKON will achieve the recognition they deserved...🙏🙏🙏😢😢

I AGREE!! Totally! When ever and WHAT EVER negative went to iKons way, YG NEVER PROTECTED them properly, and thats exactly how we ended up loosing our leader while the group was at its peak! I'm still SO MAD and SAD about that, I dont think ill ever get over it!😡😭💔
YG kinda made a mistake by keeping ikon too long in japan, especially when they were getting so much attention in south korea, it was a mistake not giving them more promotion in sk during that time
YG is big and it's all about business, I believe, they do know and are aware of what they've been doing. Unfortunately, iKON is the one that sacrifices.
@@dsloved6814 iKON being great with spontaneous live performances that don't need elaborate and expensive set-ups, outfits, live bands, etc and can produce on their own is both a blessing and a curse. YG only needs to invest a little and let iKON's talent do the rest for great returns. I still remember when they were YG's main moneymaker during BB's enlistment but they had the lowest budget. But iKON always remind us they're passion. ❤

It seemed like a rock and a hard place for YGE and iKON. SK was really getting saturated with Kpop groups by then, companies had to hustle to get their groups on tv and radio shows if they needed promotion. iKON’s fan base was solid in Korea and growing like crazy internationally. They had a choice by 2017, send them home to lose money on appearances on variety/tv/radio or make a F*ton of money by being the youngest group to have a successful dome tour. Japan is the 2nd largest music market in the world and YGE artists are LOVED there, no way they could turn down that opportunity.
If I get the opportunity to see iKON live, I’m choosing one of their Japan tours. Same with BigBang. Those tours are amazing to watch.
iKON really bag every 2018-2019 awards, and they're just about to dominate the world but that effin kmedia ruined everything. I hate it.

When Hanbin won the Songwriter of the Year in 2018, every iKONIC was so shock because of the title holders are all not idols. iKONICS were not expecting it but we secretly hope for it because we know Hanbin deserves it. And he won that night!!! It was so amazing and I for one was crying so hard. When they announced Song of the Year - Love Scenario we cried harder. 2018 was the best year. It was the year that iKON cemented their music in kr. It was at least the peak for everyone of us. Amidst the trials that iKON and iKONICS went through before 2018 it was like it was all worth it. Like finally. And then June 12, 2019 came.
As you can see, ikon were reaching their peak, they were blowing up as deserved....but then it happened. Very well timed and planned.... it's so so sad. Someone felt threatened by them or felt that they would make a good scapegoat. They lost their center, their songwriter, their LEADER. Praying ikon and hanbin can continue to build themselves up again.
The same thing happened with monsta x at their peak, and it was whole planned sabotage, attacks on every member. They lost wonho :(
It sucks to see groups thrive and have that stolen away overnight. ikon are so genuine and some of the most talented idols in all of kpop

@@shauniek I don't have any proof either but I was thinking the same thing. For me it seems like it was directed at all of YG with the craziness that went on in 2019, it all just seems a little too coincidental. But again, there is no way of knowing what was going on behind the scenes.

I’m still heartbroken till this day 💔Whenever I see pictures of them, the first thing I do is to count how many members are there 😭😭 I can still clearly remember how the news hits us that I thought it was just some fake news then hours later they released Hanbin leaving the group and the ent 🥺 I don’t even know what to do like I wanted to cry but Im still so shocked. Hanbin is my bias and seeing him grow as an artist and taking it away from him makes me upset. Hes such a good hearted guy that gets tempted to use something just to take his pain away and still end up not using it because his afraid that he might disappoint everyone who believes in him. But lets hope that better days are coming 💕
I hope you continue to support them even after the fact Hanbin left, I've been with them since their debut and I've seen so many people come and go, I know nothing lasts long but for iKON I'm always willing to stay a little bit longer waiting to see them again and be proud of them for always picking themselves up from the ashes time and time again
And that feeling of being there with them through thick and thin is so gratifying and I'm so thankful to them bc they give my life a beautiful color

And I'm sure it hurts Ikonics like you that have been with them since the beginning even more! How do you do it? Does it still hurt for you? I've only been a fan since 2020 but it hurts so much because I didn't even know Hanbin left when I first started staning them so when I realized it broke my heart. I loved Hanbin from the moment I saw him and I hope that Ikon is doing ok without him and are taking care of thier mental health because that is the most important thing! B.I was thier leader and seemed like he was the glue that kept them together in a way. I can’t deny that their stage presence is insane when i went on one of their tours before they didn’t have backup dancers or flashy stage designs they don’t even have translators they did it all by themselves but it became one of my most favorite concerts their fanservice is top notch haha
The reason why in mix and match triple kim was fixed is because they were the pillars of team b, the three of them trained together for a while before the maknaes joined yg.
I would forever mourn BI's departure from Ikon (I literally had to leave work early when I saw his resignation letter...lol I was distraught). Not only was he my bias (my ultimate bias at that) but he crafted Ikon's sound, and is an amazing song writer. We truly lost a jewel!
I WAS PART OF THAT RAINBOW OCEAN. OMG. I swear their energy in concerts matched BIGBANG's and I totally mean it as a compliment.
I could barely sit down cause every other song made me and my friend jump and scream. I was also surprised how much BDAY was so fun to listen to Live!
ISTG iKON has one of the best discographies in Kpop. BI is really a talented producer and the uniqueness of every member really highlighted his music.
iKon went from one of the hottest groups to an underappreciated and underrated group. YG needs to promote them better. iKon deserves global domination.
That bobby 1 day promotion made him so much cry because he had to lipsynch. They had so much concert tour outside korea that year that made his voice sick so he doesnt have a choice but to do it.
Fun fact too. Some idols too used variety show to get popularity but YGE is known of selecting shows where to guest. Even Jennie explained it in knowing brother why the company do it.

Actually one of the most talented but underrated group. YG focuses on them being a self-producing and doing what they want as musicians. They need more promotions as well as recognition. They can be the best south korean boy group. NO CAP

A lot of people get surprise to know the achievements IKON have on their belt, they are literally one of the most underrated group imo. they might not be the most famous top tier kpop group in the market but their awards and achievements speaks for their worth and ill always be proud of that because ive also seen all their struggles and I swear they deserve much much more! To be honest, He released his demoes on vlive before. 😊 and it shows the fact that he was the one who wrote and produced the songs mostly together with Bobby and other producers on YG. He has his own soundcloud account and please please do listen to his new demoes which you can relate at. His songs their are kind of emotional and the messages are something bound to his fans and himself.
FYI when iKON in indonesia to asian games, many indonesian people can't speak korean but we all singing love scenario haha

W.I.N was produced on 2013 competing Team A (WINNER) and Team B (iKON excluded chan). They are known as the Golden Boys thats why trainees after them were called as Silver Boys (composed of 11 trainees that include Hyunsuk, Jihoon, Junkyu, Yedam & Doyoung.
M&M was produced on 2014 where Chan together with 2 other new trainees added to compete with Team B.
iKON debuted on 2015 in their first concert.
Watch Bobby and B.Is Show Me The Money as they were only the trainees who competed there and Bobby as first and youngest idol who won the show.

Y’all it gets me mad that people overlook the way Hanbin had changed from his past self. He became very motivational and a positive person. He started going to hikes because he himself knew he needed to disconnect from the world to re-find himself and comfort himself. Too much pressure on his shoulders & he needed fresh air. Watch episode 2!! He talks about his past and current self and perspective towards the world. His speech after winning song of the year really shows how mature he became. Then dispatch had to ruin his flow. But yet he came back to us and continues to be humble and positive.

Wooow this was so nice to watch and learn especially not know half of these facts. Just makes me remember how random I started to stan ikon..or Stan Kpop period.
Will never forget. The week of high school graduation in June of 2019 I ended up falling into the Kpop whole😆They were the 4th group I found when I first divided into kpop. (Bts, then Nct, then Ateez then ikon) I ended up seeing a clip of Bobby on a show and he had his two toned hair (like in bling bling but instead of half black half white it was half black and brown) and I wanted to find out who he was just off his hair😂
couple days later I finally started my ikon marathon and found myself stanning these talented as fools, biases Bobby and soulful rocker church boy June being my wrecker. Even through that slight scary moment of loosing fans they didn’t give up...thank god. Even tho I had no idea about them when all that happened I can kind of relate know with hanbin being gone, yg abandoning them not giving them any activities lately beside a mini series they currently have. It sucks to see fans leave when artist goes through things and have to punch off releasing music for a while but then It’s like where u ever really a fan in the first place 👀
These men r amazing. I’m so proud to be their fan. I really hope yg stops ignoring them and let them have a comeback soon. But until then I will wait and always support. They have their stage names but iKONICs always use their real names and when they were sent in JAPAN and rarely back in korea , iKONICs joking around saying they are JAPAN's boy band and not korea and even change iKON to iJON kksksksksksk

01/01/2021 Sadly quite a lot of fans left iKon, it's really sad. But knowing that there's always someone out there appreciating how good and awesome they are makes me so happy. iKon is so underrated I hope this 2021 please support and cheer for their comeback . Have a nice day
