      This is my default thought. What’s a strange thought to me is if I see a black lady looking unkept, disheveled or not properly represented in media. That’s the strange and uncomfortable thought. So when I see this I’m not mesmerized or clapping for joy- this I already expect. I already know we are beautiful, feminine. It’s seeing the opposite that draws a reaction out of me.

      I'm all for BW in general finding happiness with a good man who they are physically, mentally, and spiritually compatible with...if it's with a black man, great...if it happens to be with nonblack man, I'm just as happy for them. Happiness is happiness in my book, black women need to start realizing they deserve this!

    • @ktg8670

      @Black Communism & Secession
      By no means am I saying I want to see the erasure of black people in the US, but think about it. In the US BW population outnumbers BM by 3 to 4 MILLION. Then factor in things such as BM who are already in relationships/and even married, BM who prefer light skinned BW, biracial BW, racially ambiguous women (of ANY ethnic background), and nonblack women period. Then add BM who are gay or bisexual, men who have criminal records, one's with multiple kids out of wedlock, alcohol/drug issues, guys who aren't career or goal-oriented, guys who just don't approach you properly, guys who cheat or will not treat you right. Last but not least, what about the BM who don't have ANY of the issues I just listed, but I as a woman honestly don't find him attractive, or perhaps our personalities don't mesh well (I'm not talking about from being a difficult person, but we as black people sometimes have the bad habit of thinking there is only ONE type of personality, beliefs or interests that a good black woman or man has...not everyone is going to be a "match.") So what am I left with...definitely some, if we cross paths, but not a lot in comparison to women of other ethnicities who are seeking a man of their same ethnicity.
      Of course, some of the issues I just mentioned can and DOES occur with nonblack men as well. I'm simply doing the math and saying if I strictly stick to BM, statistically I will have a harder time finding a mate. Personally, I've always found certain black, white, and Hispanic men physically attractive so it was never foreign to me to be open about to dating an attractive one IF they have the qualities I am looking for. I'm not saying I'm better than anyone else, but as an educated, smart, in shape BW who doesn't have ANY kids or a nasty attitude or drama...I deserve to date a good man without any nonsense that I mentioned. I don't settle for a nice guy (of any ethnicity) who approaches me (because he found me attractive and wants to get to know me) if I don't find him physically attractive at all. I see too many good BW (I'm not counting ratchet BW) who "settle" for BM who have one or even more of the issues I mentioned...and it never ends well.
      In the US, the fastest growing demographics are #1 Hispanics, #2 Asians, and #3 biracial/multi-ethnic people (this does NOT solely mean black biracial, it can be of ANY ethnic mixture)...so the reality is the BC within the next 50 to 70 years will still be in the US, but don't be shocked if our numbers dwindle....and I'm not talking about because of BW. Only 9% of BW have dated, or married nonblack men...less than 1% of all black women in the US have kids out of wedlock by nonblack men. Think about it, what countries are black people escaping to come to the US in huge numbers in the SAME way Hispanics and Asians are...none. And for the existing US black community to be able to get together, have a shit load of kids in high numbers to increase our population...that would take us as black people working to increase our economic status...which in other communities it is the MEN who are the backbone of that movement. It wouldn't make sense for BW to keep popping kids out of wedlock by BM if statistically the majority of black children who are born out of wedlock in the US are either receiving some form of government assistance, or grow up in working poor to extremely struggling working-class homes...entry-level middle class at best. We only get one chance to live on this planet, so when I meet an attractive decent man who has the qualities I seek, I'm taking it, regardless of the abundance or lack of melanin he might have.

    I hope that I don’t come off as colorist and I do think everyone is beautiful, but I think glow and natural hair looks the best on dark skin. Nobody does it like them, it’s so beautiful it legit makes me jealous. This woman was absolutely gorgeous I wouldn’t be surprised if she was the mother of Kheris Rogers.

    • @kemi7689

      Whatever most other skin women are not all that as well, it's the good promotion that gass up their head making them feel they are all that, if dark-skin women see women like that all day, tv, love interest, music videos, mags, giants posters promoting us, we be thinking great and feeling beautiful about ourselves too thinking other are not all that. FYI, I believe all are equal but no non-blacks or light-skin skin will ever make me feel inferior. But more promotion for us will be appreciated. The most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life is still a dark-skin young lady when I live in NG.

I understand your compliment, however, keep in mind that healthy skin, healthy hair, and a positive attitude create beauty in women and enhances those who are born physically lovely. But I do understand your appreciation for this model though.

I have a dream that all black women wear their natural hair and/or naturally looking extensions. I have a dream that this representation will be the norm. I have a dream that black women will open their dating/marriage options. I have a dream today that little black girls grow up knowing they are inherently beautiful. ❤

    Watching your videos so much is making me see colorism more. Yesterday a guy put on his story describing the “perfect girl”. Btw he is very dark skin himself. He started with “I love light skin and brown skin women who are loyal ect ect.....” I messaged him confronting him. He said well yea I like darkskin girls too... blah whatever. Then I asked why he excluded them. He got mad at me and started saying he loves all races. We went back and fourth. (Never said anything bad about anyone else). He started saying I was a catfish anyway. Finally after a long talk he saw what he did wrong and apologized! Then he put a dark skin girl on his story saying how beautiful she was and all dark skin girls! (Btw we’re both teens. He’s 19, I’m 17)
    I never usually bring up colorism to a person cause I don’t wanna come off as annoying but it fr worked (I hope).

    Hello Ms. Chrissie, I'm a new subscriber who just started following you about 5 hours ago :D I just wanted to say thank you for your confidence and trail blazing on your platform. I feel like you are taking on a role that is hard to do and not always popular but you are doing it with finesse! lol From the few videos I've seen so far (and I will be following up on the many more you have), your encouraging magazine, etc. I've gotten a sense of sisterhood. Iv'e always been a bit on the softer side but in most recent years Iv'e been drawn to learning more about my femininity and my well being. I also have a strong sense of what it means to be a black woman and seeing colorism and how some people in our community carry themselves has been very discouraging... I felt alone in the feeling of wanting to have dignity, options, and just enjoying life in peace you know? Sorry for the long paragraph (even though I want to say more!!!) but I just want to simply say THANK YOU!! Be blessed and stay safe!
