Well, English _IS_ one of the official languages of India. It comes across as a little bit staccato, but it means that such programs can appeal to a wider audience.
That I agree , but where i beg to differ is that , they poorly represented in academia..In fact Many brilliant female Students join academia in large numbers.
This show was awesome, they should make more of this.

Women are poorly represented everywhere. Academia is no exception. Patriarchy runs deep.
In UC UK women are also very much in the minority.
