I miss Carl Edwards. He was such a fun driver to watch. How he stepped away from the sport wasn’t right.

Nascar pretty much screwed him outta 3 championships. That's why I think he walked away and wont come back as a driver.

@@TyCatheyI believe it was that and what happened to Dale Jr in 2016 as well when he sat out the remainder of that season when he was diagnosed with his career ending concussion that caused him to retire from NASCAR the following year. I don’t blame Carl for retiring from the safety perspective, especially now given the well documented safety concerns the current car had last year when Kurt Busch also suffered a career ending concussion following his qualifying crash at Pocono. Thankfully as we’ve seen, the car has been improved, but the risk of a concussion is still there by a margin.
Lord it feels like just yesterday that Carl announced his retirement... and to say that the sport hasn't been the same without him, would be a massive understatement. I just hope he comes back for a one-off with 23x11....
I sure do miss Carl Edwards, sometimes he's got a great sense of humor.

I miss Carl Edwards. He was always one of my favorite drivers. I would watch nascar again of he came back. But I understand his reason as to why he doesn't. Thanks for all of the memories Carl.
