When playing this game you should really try to unlock as many of the red bricks as you can first. Stud multipliers for days!
You can actually destroy the gold things by using the tanks that shoot lasers(like actual Lazer and not just little shots, actual Lazer beams and the tanks actually look like tanks)
you need laser to destroy gold and explosives for silver

Hey, Bombastic, if you are still dealing with whole stud shortage, there is a solution. Play the Zilo beast level of this game, but don't defeat it, just let it keep on chucking tanks at you, and collect those coins to your heart's content and then defeat it. I did this as a kid for three strait hours, and had about 10,000,000 studs.

Or just get studs x 2,4,6,8, 10. In my other lego game I collected so much it just stopped at 99 999 999 999 I just couldn't get more.
Or just use cheat codes. For some reason you can get all the stud multipliers by cheat codes

What about the rebel attack on the beach troopers? Those guys are absolute chads. They snuck into one of the Tantive 4's escape pods *before Vader even caught up to the ship* and used it as a hot tub, thus having fun and stopping some of the Rebels from escaping! Truly great tactics, I am sure Thrawn would approve.
