It's so great to see that a lot of people understand, that pole dancing a really hard sport too, and not just some stripping...
I'm pole dancing too, I've started it 2 years ago and I'm in love with it ❤️
It helped me with my anxiety and low-self esteem, it boosted my confidence.
The only thing that is bad about it, that some people think that I want to be a stripper... (I have nothing against that, they learnt pole dancing too)
When they ask about it I get excited, and start to tell them about it. Well my friends can understand, but others...oh boi.
They see erotic stuff in everything which is pole dance, they can't see the beauty of it.
They ask that if it's a real sport, than why it's not in the Olympics..ridiculous.
Gymnastics are showing skin too and they need flexibility and strength just like pole dancers do, but while gymnastics are awesome and gorgeous, pole dancing is erotic. (no offense, gymnastic are awesome)

I think the issue is that people think that sexy pole dancing is cheap garbage. The world, and especially some countries have extremely damaging views about sexual nature. I see nothing wrong with watching this and seeing both beauty and strength, but also thinking that it's hot. Dynamic movement and power and agility are hot to most people. And the fact that we as a society think that if it can be construed as sexual or sensual in anyway cheapens it is gross.
Nothing wrong with a person showing off their body and displays of athletic prowess at the same time. if you find it hot, that's fine, if you don't and you just appreciate the talent and aesthetic, that's fine too. Neither version should cheapen or strengthen the reality of a person defying gravity and using their muscles in order to create a fluidity of motion that is always entertaining to watch, regardless of why they are doing it.
Erotic, awesome, shocking, all of it should be considered with a reverence for what is actually being accomplished, regardless of the flavor it comes in.
Same goes for gymnastics, belly dancing, ice skating etc. None of it is cheap or shameful and it's infinitely said that people think that way.
You are awesome and I am so proud of you for putting your point so gracefully. It seems like English is your first language because you did an excellent job expressing yourself. Lots of love and Goodluck with your pole dance.

This performance is really why I started watching these videos because of dancers like her. This was the most skilled, talented, emotional routine I've seen on this channel. She is the epitome of this type of dancing and why I think it should become more mainstream. The stigma of pole dancing needs to go away. This routine shows that pole dancing and the dancers are not just for strip clubs. These are formal trained dancers who enjoy this medium to express their talent and technique. So beautifully done by Pure Grace, definitely of my favorite routines I've seen yet.

She's dancing in a different style, exotic hard is straight up strip club moves, the bump and grind. Many types of pole dancing, so this would not really be something a strip club would demand as a skill set but if she can do this I guarantee she can do exotic.
@Mike Grover LOL I have never been to a strip club so I'll take your word for that. I have seen some of these dancers on this channel doing the exotic dancing that you would see at strip clubs and it's amazing the balance to not only be strong and powerful on the control to climb and hold on to the pole but they also have to do it in a sexy way that makes it seem easier than it really is. I have absolutely nothing against those who work in strip clubs. Quite the opposite really. Some of them are brillant in not just dancing but intelligence but school and life is not cheap and they need to do what they can with what options are available. I just think the stigma of pole dancing needs to go away as something cheap and dirty. Whether it's for competitions like this channel or in a strip club down the street, those who can dance like this should be celebrated as dancers not "strippers". It's not even close to the same thing.
Combine a gymnast, a ballerina, and a yogini and what do you get? Pole Grace! Beautifully defined muscles, stunning flexibility, amazing strength, and fluid grace all in one. Good luck to anyone competing against this young woman...for years to come.

The paradox of youtube: pole dancing videos will have tons of supporting and intelligent comments by women extolling the grace and athleticism of the performer, and women's track and field clips are flooded with the most creeptastic comments by skeevy dudes. That aside...I have to say I'm always impressed by the talent of high level pole dancers such as this. Amazing stuff. And yeah, they're also quite gorgeous.

It’s just gorgeous she not the most effortless pole dancer I’ve ever seen but she’d be second and she’s miles ahead everywhere else, so graceful and fluid and gorgeous. And the emotion present hasn’t been matched. It’s amazing and I hope we see her again eventually.
I love when you can see dancers training background in their style. Sometimes it’s ballet, sometimes its street dance, but you can tell there’s a trace of something. Her? Definitely gymnastics.

Yup, found myself saying wow out loud many times throughout this performance, just like many other commenters have been saying here as well. She's so in shape and in tune with the exact capabilities of her own body that it makes for a very athletic and different type performance to witness vs. ladies who lack that level of core and upper body strength. My favorite part was at 1:10 with the little extra 360 spin she added at the end of that one handed leg flair spin move. All the ladies that do these performances seem to love busting out that one armed move where you spin around the pole facing the audience and flair your legs out, and admittedly that is a dope looking move every time you see it but since it's used so often it was refreshing to see such a cool additional spin added to it as well to make her execution of it stand out that much more. Anyways, the entire performance was amazing but yea that little series of moves at 1:10 blew me away on the first watch through.

I've always thought that pole dancing is something what the strippers do and is trashy but this particular performance changed my whole perspective.
Every dance form is unique and beautiful. I'm amazed how swiftly she swirled around that pole. It's breathtaking. It's a pure treat to the eyes. ❤️

I've watched a few of these in a row and man I wish the audience would just shut up and let these women perform.
The ones in the audience screaming are likely fellow competitors giving encouragement. I have a daughter in competitive dance and it's the same at every competition.
